Like I said we will need to see what shape (and by that I mean the full package) Fury is in come June.

I've never wrote him "on" to be quite honest and I've watched every fight of his since his Ch5 day's. He can't really punch and he can't take a punch so I'm struggling to see what he's good at :confused:

He's great for boxing, like his interview with ITV which he terminated:p I just don't think he was ever anything special and I very much doubt he'll be anything special when he comes back.

Half hope he does to be quite honest and if he can bang Haye out on his way to AJ then even more so.
 
Fury is an odd one. Before the Wlad fight nobody rated him and most fancied Price to beat him in their much anticipated fight. Out of no where he picks up the shock of the century beating Wlad and because nobody has seen him since, it's impossible to know whether it was just a freak result or whether he's any good. He's a bit like Darren Fletcher, he got better the more he didn't play when he was at Utd - the longer Fury's been out the better he's became in people's minds.
 
There's an interview with Hearn on YouTube (IFL TV) where he's confirmed that they've offered Wilder $12.5m for the Joshua fight Wilder's camp want a 40% split claiming the fight is worth $100m. Although they appear a fair way apart on the money, at least they're negotiating.

There is no way that fight is 100 million dollars! Someone on the boxing forums did some quick maths on it. With very generous viewing figures I think it came out at around 60 million. I personally think it will be a 2 fight agreement. First in UK somewhere then return leg in Las Vegas - thats my prediction

Oh I know it's not. Hearn's response was if it's a $100m fight and they want 60/40 then pay Joshua the $60m now and he'll sign. As slippery as Hearn is and I'm sure his figures are on the conservative side, he's right in what he's said - they know how many PPV buys they'll get in the UK (based on the Wlad fight), they know how much they'll make from selling out Wembley and they'll have a very good idea of what they'll make from international tv (excluding the US) and sponsors, the only variable will be US PPV and as neither Wilder or Joshua have ever been on PPV there it's difficult to gauge.

It is mad to think that Wilder, a US heavy weight champion is so unknown in the states and earning so little. The purse for the Ortiz fight was revealed as $2.1m to Wilder and $500k for Ortiz. Haye and Bellew will be making probably 10x that next month.

Not sure I agree with that. As I said, he got $2.1m from the Ortiz fight and that was about as big a fight as he's had or can get other than AJ. Two fight deal against AJ, minimum $12.5m from the first fight and possible a lot more in the 2nd if he wins the first or if it's a classic.
 
Just a 6 month ban for Canelo? Given that most top fighters only fight ever 6 months or so anyway that has got to be one of the most pointless bans ever.
 
That's what happens when you are the money maker in boxing. I'd bet any other boxer would get a year ban and a fine.

Annoyed I'm gonna miss the fights this weekend as in Holiday. But it means I should have 3 fights to watch, Kahn v Lo Greco, Brover v Vargas and Frampton vs Donaire. Hopefully they'll be decent
 
This will be some 2/3 round nonsense just to bring the Khan V Brook fight back on the table.

Buffer seems to live over here these days! Used to only come for the proper big fights not this guff!
 
le Greco aint no mug though

Time for khan to stop messing about with silly fights and win a world title again, hes capable if he stays in the division
