Can't be bothered to read all the above expert views on joyce v parker , which experts called out correctly? And which experts that got it wrong are now predicting the winners of the next unarranged fight. :D

Kinda like schrodinger's cat. Until they fight they're all winners and losers at the same time.
It's just a shame that the sport, that they spout that they love so much, becomes a dragged out affair of wanting an extra penny to fight.
I didn't think either man would be stopped but I also thought Parker would come in lighter and try to be a bit more mobile. Joyce has slow hands but he actually has quite fast feet for a man of his size. Because Parker came in heavier than he's used to, he didn't have that fleet of foot mobility and it just meant Joyce was always able to cut the ring off and made Parker fight at a pace much more intense than he would like to. If you look at Parkers previous fights he tends to fight in spells then have a bit of time off throughout the round to recover. Joyce didn't give him that opportunity and had Parker blowing hard after the 3rd and the writing was on the wall by the 6th/7th round.

I do find it funny you have people in this thread acting like Joyce is just pure brute strength and nothing else. Yes he has slow hands and appears to fight at a plodding pace but to ignore his strengths is unfair. His jab is fantastic, even if it's slow it's bloody accurate and breaks down fighters as if he's hitting them with a battering ram, his punch accuracy and shot selection are great, he has an underrated defence (he blocked a lot of Parkers shots or caught them on the gloves), he is exceptional at closing off a ring and that tied in with his immense pressure he puts his opponents under, it's no shock they all end up capitulating.

He gives the entire division a hard nights work. The only one who I would safely bet against him with is Usyk and that's because he beat him almost a decade ago in the WBSS. I'm not saying he beats everyone else apart from Usyk but he gives them all problems throughout the fight. This is a 130Kg man, who moves quickly, physically strong, has bricks for hands and seemingly doesn't take much damage. It's a shame he didn't start a bit earlier but even at 37 he is still a handful for everyone.

Edit: Compubox has been released for the fight. Yes, I know it's not infallible but it's still interesting and backs up what I say...

Joyce won that fight with the jab.

It’s not just the jab it’s the way he just walks through you, Parker hit him with some crackers and he barely flinches, but worse than that he jumps straight back on you. He applies constant pressure and breaks a fighter down mentally and physically.

I think only Fury and Usyk gives him problems and that’s only by using movement. Neither possesses anywhere near the power to knock him out they can only hit and run.

Just watched the fight highly entertaining and certainly the best I have seen Joyce fight to date. Also what incredible chins both of them have a got. Parker threw the kitchen sink at Joyce an the just kept walking through it.

I'd pay to see Wilder V Joyce :)
Wilder v Joyce this will be intresting if this will take place.

Not sure when Joyce is going to get his shot though. Fury’s going to be fighting Charr in December it seems he always was. Fury vs Usyk will then take place in April? And no doubt be a 2 fight deal. That occupies them next year so when will Joyce get his shot 2024? What about the other mandatories they will be called at some point. Joyce is getting on so he needs his shot sooner rather than latter.

I'm dubious Fury even has the movement he used to. Since training with Sugar Hill and having the 'Kronk' style he seems to now sit down on his punches more. I wonder if he can go back to being a mover but he's obviously older now and may not have the stamina to move for 12 rounds under pressure.

It's why I want to see them all in together. Styes. Make. Fights.

Was waiting for this as love the Hatman breakdowns. I seem to see Joyce the same way hatman does. Maybe he read my post this morning haha

Great analysis again from Hatman.

Thats a problem no matter who wins this fight its always a rematch contract and this is bad for boxing

Yup it's a disgrace. Boxing could learn a lot from MMA but everyone wants the slice of their pie
Yep we could be seeing Joyce vs the winner of Usyk Fury but instead it'll be rematches for 18 months. Its boring.

I want to see different match ups. I also think there should be a minimum amount of fights per year if you have a belt aswell (injuries obviously change this).

I think people are starting to be turned off by Fury’s antics now. Simon Jordon who is normally a bit of a fanboy starting to question why Fury is behaving the way he is. They also talk about Parker Joyce.

Fury is the biggest bum going, Klitschko is his only real big triumph. It's a shame as he could probably beat AJ all day without trouble but he's just way too selective and doesn't want the big fights

I red someone’s comment the other day and thought he hit the nail on the head.

I like Fury, but he also talks a lot of ********. He beats a man who cant ******* box 3 times and people think he is a boxing god. Don’t get me wrong , he can box… but he hasn’t necessarily beat kings. Before the last 2 wilder fights he fought: (backwards order) otto walin( he struggled), Tom Schwartz(who?), Wilder(outboxed him for 12 rounds before a wilder lucky punch and sweet judge cards. He deserved a UD), Francisco pineda(who?), Sefer Seferi(who), and Klitsko(old shell). I say this to express why Fury is all mouth. Usyk is going to give him problems. Joshua will too. Can he win those fights? Sure, anything can happens in boxing. But you casuals talking about Fury is going to run over Usky and the cream of the crop of HW’s are trippin. In my opinion Fury is in for a rough year.
