Strange and naive gameplan from Yarde I feel, pretty simply work in the end for Benavidez.
 
tbh anyone in with benavidez is going to look average easy. he is the best why cannelo wouldnt fight him why bivol wont so hes moving up a weight now to win there. people just wont fight him as he is that good. yarde is okay he just isnt elite level like him.
 
it wont matter to late in the day for him. its like AJ going to train with usyks people. it isnt going to transform him now. just not elite level you either are or not. yarde just isnt. thing is the three he lost too are all elite people so anyone else he would have had a title. the funny thing is benavidez tried to get bivol to fight him before yarde but he wouldnt do it. he actually wante that fight first but the only person who would except a fight was yarde. so respect for that but he should just of stuck to his level tbh.

Why yawn? Better than ducking. Unless you mean this specific fight, in which case, I agree, I've only seen the highlights but he didn't appear to put up much of a fight.

That aside, I think he deserves huge respect for not ducking Not only that but he seems like a decent guy, based on what little I've seen. Usually quite humble too.

yeah tbh for those that dont follow boxing closely bene been trying to make fights for ages all the top stars turki offering up the big money and no one would fight him. only yarde. so to be fair give him something for atleast trying when no one else would. imagine ...you know you the best but no one will fight you regardless of money..they should be made to fight . now he has to go up a weight just to get a fight. must be so frustrating.

I always thought Buatsi would beat Yarde just as he seemed to pass the eye-test a bit better but he squandered any quality he had by dragging his heels and being so inactive.

That fight is past the sale date now. At one point it could've been a huge British LHW fight but I don't have the same interest in it that I did a few years back.

Yarde's issue was he always fought the elite, got found wanting, then would go back to fighting uber drivers. It's like what RJJ said. If you fight at that level, you'll stay at that level. His career never had any serious progression
