So mine still hasn't unlocked 10 hours after it was released... but I'm pretty sure that is because I bought from the US store (35 dollars cheaper). Oh well, hopefully should unlock by 7pm my time... then I just have to wait for the GF to go to bed before I can play!
I didn't play the alpha or beta... I was kinda thinking going hunter... but it seems most are going Warlock. Is hunter a good class?

I'm impressed with the quality of the product tbh.. and looks like there may be quite a few hidden messages to decode too!

I've missed most of the build up to this, from the videos so far it kind of looks like Halo gunplay crossed with Borderlands in terms of gear/levelling? It does look quite grindy and missions seem to be very much the generic "go here, fight wave(s), then go here, etc", was the beta any good?
I enjoyed Borderlands because it had a sense of humor and that masked the repetitive nature pretty well but this looks quite "dry", even the commentator in the multiplayer sounds bored.
Not trying to knock the game, just weighing up if I should buy it as I got a bit burned by Titanfall which was good but fell pretty short of my expectations (probably my own fault for buying into the hype so much).

It looks like the emblem you got for stress testing beta has been given to all beta players as I was in beta but not the stress test however have the emblem.
Levelling feels a touch slower than beta, but looking forward to getting into some strikes tomorrow eve

It could just be people choosing what class they want to primarily play before the game releases? I can't tell without seeing what you see

Been playing this for a couple of hours this morning. Oh my it is good! Spent 5 minutes just dancing with some people in the tower, oh and kicking/jumping a giant beach ball thing around

Just to remind everyone who has joined the OcUK clan and wants it to be set as their clan, once you have played Destiny you can go to the clan site, log in and click "Set as Playstation/Xbox clan". I don't know if this can be done in-game so if someone wishes to correct me then please do
Played an hour this morning. Very impressed, tight gameplay. I never got round to the Beta but glad I got it.
Quick q, I was on the 1st mission after the intro mission, playing solo, but about 5 minutes in, after I killed a wave, I see another player running around, then what looks like him activating the same wave I just killed. So I get attacked again, help him out, and its fun.
So it's all good, but, is that how it's meant to work? Waves respawning as other players join to play the same mission? It seemed like we joined at different times so weren't synced up on waves of enemies... can imagine it being a bit painful later on in the game when you could die quickly, last thing you need is a mob respawn!
