Eh? I don't think anyone thinks Crota's End is a patch on Vault of Glass. It's only 30 minutes though so as a glorified strike it's ok.

Might pick up HoPF and stash in the vault....and finally upgrade my Thorn as I cba doing the bounty again.

Just realised I have ZERO strange coins....balls!

After the patch the UR is decent although very slow reload. On another note some good drops for me this week with many chances still left. Black Hammer, Suros Regime and MIDA Multitool are the main ones. I am still missing my Hunter legs from CE though stopping me from hitting lvl 32 on that char.

Whats the best item for a noob to pick up, Level 28 now and have around 13 coins so can't afford more then 1 item unless I get lucky farming during the weekend.
 
depends what type of character you have really. also, if you have some motes of light you could get a helmet engram - 33% chance of rolling an exotic helmet of the right class

What class are you?

All of the available options are good from a pure level increase point of view - assuming you aren't already running an exotic.

They may not have the best rolls (I dont' know I haven't checked) but not being at a level deficit is far more imporant imo when you don't have multiple armour sets to choose from.

Have you already run the NF and level 30 WH this week? If not I am taking my wife through on her level 29 Titan tonight (&PM ish onwards) so you are more than welcome to join us (just ping me a message before hand so I can open the fireteam as I tend to keep it closed when she is running). :)

Sorry, currently a hunter, I've done the weekly that gives 3 coins, but not the LV30 one yet. IF your running on the weekend I can join, won't get time tonight till maybe 2am xD. Also have 19 motes of light so I could try for that too, don't have any excotics, I have legendary helm/gloves/shoes and a rare top.

I should be on in the evenings both nights. I don't mind re-running the NF / WH to help out. I can use it as a glimmer run anyway. Ping me if your on as I will probably be zoned out and / or messing about.

The level 30 WH will feel very similar to the one you have already done although you will note a significant damage penalty being 2 levels below all of the enemies.

The NF is fundamentally identical to the level 30 WH albeit the psions are shielded (void) and I believe there are a few more enemies in general (never really noticed myself though).

Everything on both will one hit you within melee range regardless of your level (being level 32 makes no difference in this repect compared to say a level 28/29 in the NF).

Based on your armour setup a legendary chest is more important than an exotic helmet (although the latter will still be very useful going forward). Do you have any commedations or marks?

Yeah I'm on. Need to do 2x CE, 2x VoG (from Gorgon CP) and 1x Weekly.

I've got the Gorgon CP on two characters.

Thanks to Xur I only need the horn to complete all weapon exotics. Which basically means, I'll never get it.

Yeah, only just now got to Vanguard Level 2 so no commendations yet, I got some 140 points so as soon as I hit level 3 will pick on up. More looking at weapons since I only have rare weapons thus far. Ill give you a ping on the weekend if I get some time, thanks mate :D.

No problem. Hopefully the NF and WH will be kind to you. :)

Good news is that the NF & WH will both put you nicely towards your next VG rank plus you will gain a ~ 20% buff to your XP & rep until the next reset.

On a seperate note - have you finished Eris's quest line yet? It nets you Murmur a rather nice fusion rifle.
