Trolling? One of the best titan exotics, pretty decent hunter arms, and the warlock fast res helm...plus the best exotic HC in the game.

I'll be picking up the Hunter arms and then spending the rest of my coins on ToC's. Even with the exploit nerf, having a chance of an exotic dropping makes boss killing more interesting.
 
Awesome, I have 32 strange coins! Looks like Hawkmoon may be my first ever purchase from Xur. I do love handcannons, me. Unless there's advice against getting Hawkmoon?

Yeah, don't get it, its pretty much my only exotic and I don't want every man and his dog walking around with one!

Seriously though, its pretty good. I use it quite a lot and if you haven't got a higher damage primary its useful just to pull your light level up a bit.
 
Or would it be worth getting the hunter arms? What would be rarer to drop? Or are there certain exotics I'd be better off using in other slots if/when they drop?

Ah sod it, I'll get the gun. Guns are good. Rooty tooty point and shooty.

Hawkmoon is being given out left right and centre these days, all of the people I regularly play with have had it drop at some point since TTK.
 
I had it drop when I was farming with ToC. Everyone has it already almost so giving it away with Xur is just weak.

I don't have it and will be purchasing it, together with Ruin Wings. I'm very chuffed with these two but then I don't expect the moon on a stick every Friday ;)

Lol, I know, Xur makes me greedy but I'm sure that most people will be the same if everything Xur has, they already have. Its not like I have exotics coming out of my ears either. I have 2 exotic weapons (both year 1) and a load of exotic helms/gauntlets.
 
Oh lordy, the rage on the bungie forums because some people can't read/understand what legacy means.

One guy has burned 700 coins and is moaning about the engrams all being year one!

First time I went to Xur....hmm 'Legacy' engram, that's probably year 1 gear. Can people not read?

Happy Ruin Wings take shaders now, doesn't ruin my New Monarchy sponsorship deal. Just spent a load on Three of Coins to use while doing other stuff.

Starting to plod through the exotic sword quest now. 8 of the 25 guardian kills out the way today. Only 7 major kills left.

Anyone else getting onto the part with the dreadnaught boss soon? Gotta clear off three yellow bar knights in a few seconds then take out another boss.
 
I shall be grabbing Ruin Wings, but not sure about Hawkmoon. I have The Last Word and I don't really use it because I main a Titan, however, I do have a low level Warlock that can be pushed to 25 instantly.

Worth getting Hawkmoon for the Warlock?
