I hope MS reneg all the used game and online DRM rubbish now Sony have announced. I expect MS to be more than talkative tomorrow morning about things theyve tried to avoid since the XO reveal. The games theyve announced more than make up the extra that Kinect costs, its just all these 'anti-gamer' policies that have really made the difference

Sony just won e3 for me :D ps4 at launch for me should money permit. Not fussed about needing ps plus to play online as the service provides that much content it's worth it's money
 
I wonder how the sales of the 2 consoles will be, the 360 launched a year early and had over 6.5 million sales before the PS3 even came out and the PS3 has still sold more consoles.

Sony has the price advantage this time.
 
Wow, great stuff. Looks like graphics will be good on both but with the pricing and lack of drm Sony have earned my pre order.

I really hope MS backtrack and align themselves with Sony though.

Also: At that price the ps4 will be the free gift on sensible mobile phone contracts too e.g £30 ish per month
 
Sony have won it for me from E3, but that said, the only exclusive I want is Forza....

I'll wait until next Christmas and re-evaluate both consoles as the developers get used to the new platform. For now though, it's a GTX780 for me as most games I want will be on PC too (BF4, COD:G, WatchDogs etc)
 
sony did sneak something in about have to pay for a playstation plus subscription to play online with certain/all games and the price might go up to cover all the new features..

But hell I have two PS3, a PSP and will have a PS4; even a vita with the 100 pound I save and will be selling one of my PS3s. So its worth it for me. I wonder what the expiry is like for them playstation plus cards.. is it worth getting one now to save a few pounds?
 
Ok I've found the price (impressive!) But I can't find the release date! Did they say anything?

I'm going to have to get the one at some point, too many exclusives I want now and in the future. I may get the PS4 at launch though.

Can't comment on the Xbox as I've not see any videos yet but The ps4 version of watchdogs looked nowhere near as good (graphically) as the pc footage from a few months back... Very noticeable difference in quality of lighting, aa etc. it didn't look next gen at all and assassins creed didn't look great either in terms of graphics (poor jaggy vegetation).

If this is the standard of next gen console graphics consider me unimpressed

Until people have played both they need to shutup and stop posting cringy comments which make them come across as no life fanboys.

For all we know either console could have a major design flaw/hardware issue etc
