Whats the hate with QTE? If it keeps the gameplay fluid a smooth then it doesn't really matter. Looks more like finishing moves like in GOW.

I quite like QTE's, but 3/4 to kill each enemy would get old quick.

You're in luck! Plus it even tells you what buttons to press and pauses the game until you press them... that's progress!
