Wouldn't surprise me if it was GSP. It was Khabibs fathers wish to see him fight GSP, and GSP seems to be open to the idea too - will take some financial persuasion of course.

It's what I foresee happening, but I'm hoping Gaethje can blast in fair few leg kicks, taking a little off Khabibs takedown onslaught, giving Gaethje more of a chance to turn it in to a standup fight.

Ah, that's a good point. Khabib has been trying to get that fight for a while.

I didn't know it was the Khabib fight tonight until someone just told me, an early one too, prelims at 5pm and main card starts at 7pm

Co-main should be a good fight hopefully, not got a favourite so just hoping for a war.

At least nobody else has to worry about getting destroyed by him, thanks for all the maulings Khabib. Time to get behind Islam Makhachev, Usman Nurmagomedov - I hope Khabib coaches them going forward as his dad coached him - to hopefully continue that Dagestani domination.

I think this is the first time I honestly believe a top level fighter will stay retired.

It was all about his dad this one, and he promised his mother it would be his last fight. Top top way to go out....Arrived in UFC and totally dominated from the word go....Unreal. Good luck to the guy.
