Weidman out of the UFC199 title fight :/

Yeah, I saw this earlier - looks like Bisping might actually get his title shot after all these years!

Doubt he'll have enough to beat Rockhold, especially with just a 2 week camp, but then I didn't think he stood a chance against Silva either!

Half the problem is that Rockhold looks like a LHW when you stand him next to pretty much every other MW - I know size doesn't trump skill but it sure helps!

I'd love to see a 100% healthy Jacare take on Luke - now that would be a fight worth watching!

Biggest fight of his life, first ever title shot after years and years of being ignored, and a chance to cement his legacy. Like most other people I'm 99% sure he's going to lose but he'd be a fool not to take this fight.

He's no spring chicken and realistically if he doesn't take the shot, he may well never get it. The right decision whichever way you look at it, but taking on a beast like Rockhold on two weeks notice doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.

Love it if he managed to pull out a win though.

I absolutely hate watching Maia!!!!

Cyborg looks like she could so some serious damage, probably to a load of blokes too. She actually throws punches like a man does.

That's what I was thinking!!

At the start it was jab-jab. Thought to myself whats the big deal? Then she turned into WANDERLEI!!!

I really couldn't care less about McGregor's next fight after all of his tantrums to be honest!

He's fun to watch but he's not even defending his title if he gets his way - if I were Dana I'd make it clear that he either defends his title before trying to settle his grudge with Diaz or the Aldo-Edgar fight becomes for the full title!

Mayhem Miller is fighting in Italy this weekend, weighed in 209 for a MW fight, a title fight no less :/

Took his shorts off and everything, guy is a clown.

McGregor is the biggest draw in UFC. Period. The way the UFC treats the fighters is disgusting - what McGregor tried to achieve was admirable.

Agree with everything you say. Well almost...

Conor IS the UFC's biggest draw at present and yes recognising that he needed to train properly to shore up the errors in his gameplan is definitely what a professional athlete should have done!

The only problem is that that's not all he is! It's also part of his profession to promote the fights and to refuse to do so is impacting upon others on the card as well as the UFC as a business!

Conor is a victim of his own success in promoting - he's the most charismatic guy in the UFC and so of course he's asked to do probably more than his fair share!

I go back to my post a few weeks ago, does anyone actually think that if Dana offered to half his media responsibilities in exchange for halving his purse, that Conor would have been happy to take him up on it!

The BUSINESS that is the UFC did exactly what they needed to imo!

I think Dana's refusal to share the spotlight with anyone is pretty much set in stone! (Fedor situation anyone??)

And in all fairness why should the UFC give "parity" to any of their EMPLOYEE'S!

So Dana and Lorenzo flew to Stockton to see Nate. Apparently the meeting didn't end well and Dana stormed out. Rumour is that Nate wanted the same $10 Mil that Connor is getting and the UFC don't want to pay. Disgusting IMHO. I love MC, but you can't pay Diaz less when he wtfpwned Connor the first time.

Some interesting results in Venator last night, Miller ended up getting subbed and Palhares got knocked out. Some ex UFC names were on the card;

Barnatt, Miller, Palhares, Hamill, Sokoudju, Che Mills, Cody Mckenzie.
