Joe lauzon getting the job done, that guy is a beast and one of my favourites for sure. Should be of been on the main!

Although i guess aldo won, landed the heavier shots, edgar was the aggressor all fight.. aldo didnt throw unless edgar came at him. Pure running and countering mayweather style. Sometimes them fights go to the aggressor but hey ho :)

Tate got destroyed. Seriously she didn't look like the defending champ at all, very disappointing.

Lesner did well against a 42 year Hunt but what did it prove?

Velasquez looked good  Interesting seeing him getting back to form.

It proved that after a long hiatus he can come back in and beat a top 10 heavyweight, who many regarded as a serious threat, with relative ease?

Let's not downplay the achievement, Brock is a very limited and relatively inexperienced fighter who just beat a guy that was campaigning for a title shot not long back. Lesnar isn't comfortable fighting, you can see it, but he holds some impressive wins for his limitations.

Felt bad for Tate, she needed to avoid striking with Nunes and establish dominance in wrestling early. Her will broke as soon as her nose did, poor girl.

Aldo looked amazing, he totally dominated Edgar! Mcgregor & aldo would be a good rematch after Diaz if he can still make the weight.

Velasquez will be champ again, the grind is too strong with him!

I'm not sure why people are having a go at Aldo, I thought he was very good, controlled the fight really well and landed the cleaner shots. He also has absolutely beast takedown defence. Cormier is the most boring fighter to watch, I like him as a person but my word is he dull to watch inside the octagon. I now see why people were booing Cormier at the press conferences leading up to this event but cheering Jones. I thought Brock was okay but nothing that special, his standup is hilariously bad. Cain was impressive in his win, if he can stay fit there's no reason he can't make another charge at the title.

Oh and Miesha got absolutely crushed, she looked very average. It's funny how much the belt is moving around now in Rousey's absence. Nunes is an excellent striker, it would be interesting to see her fight another solid striker like Holm.

Bisping - Henderson ...... not really interested in this one :/ so many more deserving middleweights.

Jacare has this right, if they want to honour Hendo stick him in the HOF, don't give him a completely un deserved title shot when there are a bunch of MWs who are worthy, it's completely ridiculous.

If Bisping wins I won't be surprised if Silva gets a rematch offered to him, for stepping up on 2 days notice.

On the flip side, if this is in Manchester I'll be buying tickets.

Hendo's last chance at UFC gold and still more than capable of repeating one of his most memorable KO victories. Bisping gets a chance to avenge his worst KO loss to a fighter that might just have slipped enough for Bisping to squeak the win.

Throw Bisping to the wolves after this fight, although I suspect Hendo takes it again.

Win or lose Hendo should retire, I think we may even see Bisping retire if he gets KTFO again.

Decent event UFC 200 without being spectacular. however the prelims were KO central!

Not sure if serious?? I thought all of the prelims went to decisions?? (with the fights being better than the main card imo!)

Overall not great card - good to see Cain back to his (almost) best - be interesting to see him against the winner of the Miocic/Overeem fight!
Really surprised that Tate was dominated like that - I thought while not being overly spectacular, she was at least durable - I guess not!

Didn't expect much from the DC/Spider & Brock/Hunt fights but was made a little better since I put a few quid on Brock to win by decision!! :D

oh and Aldo, you might be a "great" fighter but you are still boring as **** to watch!

Thought Brock was going to dominate that fight, 6/4 was silly odds i'm disappointed I never lumped some on.

Tate got absolutely butchered which isn't a huge surprise, I think it was a stretch to say she was the best in the division she was getting destroyed by Holm before the takedown.

I'd argue that she wasn't being destroyed by Holm - yes she was losing the striking battle but her movement was good and she was able to control the fight when it went to the mat!

I think she just didn't expect Nunes to push the pace right off the bat and by the time she realised she had already lost!

She's certainly not the best in the division but I'm glad she's at least won the title, even if it was fleeting! - some good matchups on the horizon if Ronda ever decides to come back too!

Can't link it here due to the language, but episode #822 of the Joe Rogan Experience is a pretty decent one and worth checking out.

Has Chael on there giving his take on the Jon Jones thing, obviously as an admitted juicer he has quite an interesting take on things and also some background on "alleged" Jones incidents that leads me to believe he may not be clean.

Worth checking out!

Best fight of the night was in the prelims tbh. Super Sage getting out of that armbar was impressive and sickening at the same time

I found the DC fight boring and whilst I understand that he did what he had to I'd rather have watched paint dry than watch some fat guys cuddling for 15 minutes. They should have been stood up a few more times than they were and he struggled to do any damage from the top position. I don't blame Silva (he is one of the all time greats who basically took the fight without much prep) but I just don't feel that DC is a deserving champ and believe that he will be destroyed by the next fighter with a decent stand up game. Pity that Jon Jones had to go full retard

Brock fight was good but ultimately pointless. Either come back full time or sod off tbh. As much of a draw as he is, the guy is so limited that it's painful to watch. He had opportunities to take Mark Hunt's back and go for (at least) a rear naked choke but he spent 5 minutes trying to set up an arm triangle like it was the one move he'd practised. When he eventually did get on top/mount he did some decent damage but failed to capitalise.

Maybe it was the hype train but I wasn't blown away by the PPV on the whole. It needed a good rivalry, a big KO or even just some good submission attempts. What we ended up with was a load of fights going to the judges, ticking the boxes for the next round of fights to be created.

My 2p :)
