*** The Official FIFA 13 Thread ***

The higher the lvl you are the more advanced unlocks you can purchase. Thats all the xp does.

All returning FIFA 12 players will carry over their level and XP with them into FIFA 13.

Now you're probably right but they've done a poor job of explaining the change then. As that XP counts for nothing bar a leveling up barometer, guess we'll see once season ticket drops but what a waste of having all the XP from last year if it can't be used.

So whats the justification between rare and non-rare this year? Seems weird to see that Ibra is non-rare this year - doubt that will mean he will be really really cheap this year...

So rapists look down on peados, doesn't stop them being rapists :p.

I think in fairness, they look across to them, neither are better!

I'll admit I've spent a fair bit on Fifa 12, but at the sane time, I've played it pretty much exclusively and probably saved ~£200 in games I would have bought otherwise! :p

I've bought every Fifa since '96 (except the recent World Cup ones) and I think this will be the first I'm not getting. Played it a couple of months ago at an EA event and then the demo for a bit last night and it just doesn't have the same feel. Really don't like it :(

I'm loving the demo, it feels fantastic. In particular I'm liking the first touch stuff and in general the game feels a bit more random, in terms of deflections and loose balls etc. Feels much more realistic.

For me the slight tweaks that have been made are very much a plus, it plays like fifa 12 yet is much more friendly and intuitive in terms of control and control of the ball, I thought at first that it might the game too balanced towards attack but it's just user friendlier. Looking forward to the FUT web app going live on Tuesday.

Im 50/50 on the demo it broken a lot of my passing style due to poor first touches which allows the defence to either just directly take the ball or just to shore up the gap in time to stop me exploiting it.

In all though its just too hard to give it a complete review until I play real people on it. Formations that have lots of players in certain parts of the pitch may just end up being a scrap in attempting to just control the ball rather than constructing a move...

Im not a fan of first touch until I understand if better players (i.e. Messi) can control the ball better than poor players - doesnt appear in the demo that the pass type, where on the body its controlled on; or the quality of the accepting player makes much difference in how well they can trap the ball...

Ingames for most of the "top" leagues now live on Futwiz.com - apologies if the site is a little slow, word has spread on twitter and the site is getting a lot of hits! Upgrade on the way tomorrow I think...

Is that site EA funded ? Or you a group of guys doing it for the love ? Just out of interest

The latter :) Now we've got ingame stats up will be working on a lot of the UI tweaks and hope to make things a lot easier to navigate and use - it's been a long day.... the traffic stats are ridiculous

Logging in with EA account is perfectly safe and secure but not needed at all unless you're a collector and want to check your collection stats, don't really think that applies to anyone here tbh!

Rooney's default card is CF? CF>ST cards are like 6-8k in FUT12.

Falcao still has 4* weak foot? Come on, he should have 5. Jumping 93, heading 95, Positioning 91. He won't be winning headers against tall defenders but those are some nice stats.

Iniesta is LW? This for real? That will probably make him cheaper since he will be a slow winger... Reyes been moved to the left with only 79 pace? Are we being trolled? Tello and Ron are the only 90+ pace LW's in La Liga I can see.

Sturridge been moved to RW with 90 pace. Yikes.

I'm sure Di Maria and Navas will have 90+ pace when the game comes out... obviously not everything is sorted out yet!

Yeah, any feedback (good or bad!) is appreciated :)

Not sure if this is simple to fix, but when you search, then click on a player to see the profile, there is no "back" button to see the whole list again and if you go back on browser it asks for form resubmission. A little script with a "back" button to go back to results would be handy
