*** The Official FIFA 13 Thread ***

I am sick to the back teeth of playing against 3-5-2, I hate that ******* OP formation. In Seasons and in Cups, I can't get away from it!

In Fifa 14 I hope they bring back single matches and they let you see the formation before you start the game. At least then I could avoid that and 5atb teams.
 
Another thing that wrenches my nipple nuts is "Chemistry" Maybe if the good people of EA could sub it for some type of Manager discussion card? Or even the longer you keep a particular player from a different league in your choice of team, the more adapt he will become

I actually quite like chemistry, as I love the challenge of trying to put together really good teams that perhaps aren't overly obvious. My main team has a mixture of Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Serie A and Liga BBVA, all with 9 chem for each player. Not easy to do, but it's one hell of a team.
 
Chemistry & Fitness, imo, should go, but morale should play a bigger part, I've had someone in my club on 96 fitness and played over 400 games since he was last used, if he's not gotten fit by now, I should really call an undertaker.
 
Beat a 352 pace team 2-3 with 10 men. Had Arbeloa sent off in the first 10 minutes. I even saved a penalty. That was a tough game! I had a full Spain team, which has little pace..

What worries me is seeing players on the market with 30 odd fitness. I think to myself "what have they been doing to you, you poor man. :("

I for one, wouldn't feel a satisfaction going all out on a team based on speed. Give me a 5 Star skill team, any-day. With speed over 75. And I'd be happy. Plus work-rates would have to be to my liking as well.

Yep, the worst I saw was someone with about 14 fitness and no morale at all, figured he had been on loan at Arsenal or something, I ended up buying him just to save him from jumping off the nearest bridge!
 
Who was it that used Gotze at ST. I've built a 4222 because I wanted to try Rues and Robben at CAM and I was going to try Gomez and Gotze up front, bit of little and large.

Fifa 14 on PS4 has a whole new game engine and I would wager will be a killer app from the word go.

Really down to what works for you playstyle wise? I've got the same team with a different ST, RW & GK and SIF Ronaldinho and it plays really well and is actually just good fun to use!

it's being made for the ps3 as well, so my point being the difference between the ps3 and ps4 version will be practically none i imagine because they will most likely create the ps3 version first then port it onto the ps4 because EA are retards, then in fifa 15 i would imagine the difference to be huge between the versions as it will be designed especially for the ps4 then ported to the ps3.

i can live with 13 until 15, 13 has been the least played version for me so ive gone off fifa and not going to miss out on much with 14 i imagine, so dont want to but it and be disappointed like i was with 13, will wait for the proper next gen version in 15.

dont like silvers, gold only

i just came up with this




i prefer 5221 and 352 formations, 343 and 433 seems far too open.

Luis and the GK and Santana are the only ones I am unsure about.

Marcelo and IF Sandro are other options for LB if i think he is too slow.

Cesar is another option for GK but my guy is 6'5 with amazing diving and have heard he is the best keeper in the game from someone who put Casillas as 2 and Neuer as number 3, so gonna try him out.

Santana - last time i used him he was terrible, will replace with Lucio if he doesn't impress.

I could get rid of Alves and get Mariano or Danilo or Jonathon to then get Silva at the back.

so that is another option.

basically i am worried about Luis the most his normal card is cack

Luis (the LWB) not Luiz (the CB).

Luiz is one of the best CB's in the game lol.

decided to shoehorn in a non brazilian because Alaba is much faster than the Brazilian LB's

i really wanted 4231 so i could use the Brazil system but Neymar and Hulk would have to go then.

will go with Guilherme, if he doesnt do well then will get Cech or Cesar

thats the team, i have Luiz in another team will switch with miranda is he isnt capable or even lucio who is a beast in the middle

7k left over, came close to overspending, would have if i bought Paulinho, brazil players are a lot higher than what the databases suggest.

From what I've heard Fifa 14 is running a brand new engine on next gen consoles, so it could be a fair bit different from the current gen versions.
 
Bought TOTS Baines converted him to LWB for 200 coins and put him back on the market and he sold for 100k more than I paid. Market seems to be all about timing, if you list someone when there's a few people looking for him and not many on the market you can start a bidding war.
