I never liked Flatout (original) anywhere as much as I wanted to. Y'see I yearn for a game that's all about physics, cars, destruct-a-bility but for some reason when the game is centered around a racing circuit, and well, a race - I seem to lose all excitement. I always go on about CarmageddonII but I swear if a game came out now that offered that sandbox experience on a bigger scale I'd be so so happy. I think really I just want to see stupid, silly stunts and all sorts of craziness going on around me. I see glimpses of that in racers like Flatout but it's quite limited because it's a racing game, in a pretty defined space overall.
I can't help it. Watched a vid for this game earlier, have to say it does look cool.

Damn my mail coming late on. They should never have given the option for postal workers to choose between early morning and mid-morning deliveries. I like my mail at 8.30-9am! I've become accustomed to it after 20 years dammit!
