Im really enjoying it but im not sure if id be willing to sub when its released. Ive got enough tactical skills unlocked to get my team playing the way i want and ive just this minute won a preseason tourney as well, my proud Aston Villains took down Inter Yenan on pens after a 2-2 draw :D.

Anyone else in GW13? had a blinding start to the 1st/qual season (PFA association) and were top of the league after seven games, dont expect it to stay that way for long but the team are playing really well and so far were - won 5 - drawn - 1 lost - 1.

Had Ryan Taylor on trial and ive put a contract bid in as hes done a cracking job for us so far, Metzelder has turned out to be rock solid as well. If i can find a decent striker we should be looking at a top half finish.

Lets get this thread back on the first page where it belongs.

Right, for those of you interested in FML but did not gain access to Beta here is some information for you.

An email was sent to all Beta testers last night advising them that the game is due to go live in October, and limited game worlds will be released on this date, with more being opened in batches throughout the month.

Subscription is worked out at 20p per day, therefore £6 per month, with options to pay in 3, 6 and 12 monthly packages.

Found it.
It was a WeeGie update.
Edited the database to add Mr Goals to Milan again, sorry, i mean Shevchenko. :p. Wacked his CA upto 179 too.:p.

Anyway.
Half way through the first season:

GK: Akinfeev / Abbiati
DL: Jankulovski / Maldini
DC: Kaladze / Marzoratti
DC: Nesta / Bonera
DR: Zambrotta / Oddo
MC: Pirlo / Ambrosini
MC: Gatusso / Flamini
AMC-L: Ronaldinho / Rosina
AMC-C: Kaka / Montolivo
AMC-R: Seedorf / Pato
ST: Shevchenko / Inzaghi.

I blew most of my transfer budget on Montolivo/Akinfeev/Rosina. With the latter two costing 20-25m each and Montolivo costing me £35m! :-o

Transfer targets for the next season:
DL: Chiellini (currently valued at £25m according to mini scout).
DC: Barzargli (about £10m)
DR: (not a clue. :p)

Ive redone all my coaching staff, every area is at 7 stars except set pieces. Theres only 2 coaches in my game that fit the stats, and neither will come! :(.

About to start a new game.

I prefer making teams better, so who to be? Don't want a team where they're screwed either way, and have no cash to spend whatsoever.

Hmm.

well I've been quietly Reading this thread but I've been mainly playing football manager. I started with Redditch and we've been promoted twice in three seasons. They love me!!! I can't wait to get stuck into league two! Anyone else doing a lower league team?

Hmm.

I've got a game going with Lyngby in the Danish league. Thats quite difficult. They were newly promoted to the Premier Division so the expectations are relatively low.

I have got bored of playing in the usual divisions (England, Italy, Spain, France) because you always seem to end up buying the same quality. So whilst I wait for FM09 I am having a little tour around the lesser played nations and its actually more exciting, not to mention a lot harder.

I was actually planning that, with Gronigen or someone. But gone for Palace for now.

Edit: Hmm now tempted to start overseas....

Keep saying it, but Milan.
Needs a good rebuild, not short on cash and with a budget adjustment, you can get £32m.

09 will be interesting, as there wont be as much rebuilding needed for Milan, but still quite a bit imo.

Just nearing the end of my 1st season with the new weegie, and ive got a dilema. Inzaghi.
35 years old. CA of 134, he's scored, thus far for me.........20 goals! :-o.
Keep or sell at the end of the season?
