With teams such as Milan, do you not try to keep the style of play?

For example, im in the year 2020 now and joined Milan two seasons ago. Their formation is still the 4-1-2-1-2, with no wingers.

I kept this, and adapted the team to it.

Also I like to buy players in their 30's, for example, I bought Eduardo (the player that playes everywhere in defence and left side of midfield) aged 31 for £1.1million from Arsenal. Hes been great as a backup player! Also got Fabregas on loan at the age of 33.

Yes i have kept a similar style. I don't play wingers.

I'm thinking about loaning out Montolivo, using Seedorf for a little.

Ok, loaned out Zapater and Fabianski, i'm thinking of buying Sergio Ramos, £34.5m release clause. Worth it? Means Fazio can be loaned/backup.

If i was to get him, i can field two proper first teams.

Means i have two full teams for each position, with a few extras :D. Loaning out a few of my prospects if i can.

Hes such a great player, worldclass in DC or DR. A must! Buy him!

In my Man Utd game, I was obsessed with not spending too much on players, but I still bought Sergio, for £47.5M. He was immense.

I now have to fit someone else in there too.


Messi was owning me in the Super Cup (i won though), and saw that he had a release clause of £41.5m...signed him :$.

£128m this transfer window. Ouch!

Although, did get many key players....

Nihat, Silva, Messi, Ramos, Lahm, Veloso, Julios Cesar and Zapater. Nihat, Cesar were paid for last season though.

I dont know how your getting these players for peanuts, i really dont.
Chiellini for £8.5m, Ramos for £35m, Messi for £40m.
They usually cost me £50m+ each.

Still though, Kaka on the bench? he is technically the best player in the game with CA/PA, with only Messi if he reaches his full 197, which is unlikely, to be better.

Sykey-wykey told me on MSN last night that he got nearly £50m in TV money, £20m or so from season tickets, renegotiated his wage bill down to up his transfer kitty and had some money from the previous season.

Aye, i had a lot in TV Revenue, £55m i think. Won all the cups i was in last season, had about £800k wages that i wasn't using, so adjusted that even more. And I didn't spend all my money last season, and got £16m from sales.

after taking leeds from league 1 to the PL (it did take 5 seasons :o) and then getting them to 14th in the league my first season and given a new contract i got sacked before christmas in my second season,

we were second from bottom and just got hammered by the team just above us :(

but the thing was i got no warning or no message first i knew was after the game i had a news item saying the fitness coach had left with me so as to give the new regime a fresh start?

no message from chairman no vote of confidence before hand?

I've now got three squads i rotate, well lineups should i say.

One is a full strength first team, the other is the backups. Then there is a mixture of the two, mostly for the group stages and lower end teams in the league.

Going well so far!
 
syke thats a very good team you got there! The money you have is just crazy :p

What update did you use? Thinking of updating and starting a new game. Next week off work, I could get a few seasons done :D

www.fmscout.com i used the one called 'Complete European Update' or something like that.

Have a few injuries at the moment, Pirlo, Veloso, Nihat, and ouch just seen Zapater who is on loan is out for 5 months.
