yeah lots changed for me in the last 12 months, had a baby 3 weeks ago and find my prioties have changed, but i suspect i will still find myself ordering sim free on release day! eeek but ya never no! im very happy with my galaxy nexus, jellybean is soooooo much better than any previous version.

Congratulations.

I expect that it will be heart instead of head this time around and I'll be in that launch queue again. We shall see.

Got the 4.1.2 OTA on the Nexus 7 yesterday evening so this shouldn't be too far behind.

Tried the Google Services Framework trick this morning 10x, didnt work.
I think its only for Takju models at the moment...

Managed to get a Nexus4 16GB ordered but that process was a complete google fail. Can't believe its not in the AOSP yet either! not a good start..

Has anybody had the ota update yet? I've had it on my N7 yesterday but not my phone.

There's been no sign of it.

Anyone get the OTA yet? I've been trying to force it since yesterday and it doesn't appear to work yet. Worked first time on my Nexus 7.

I think Takju has bugs and they are holding back Yakju.

OTA news:

"The Android 4.2 system update is still rolling out gradually to eligible Galaxy Nexus devices, but we haven't quite started it for yakju yet. We're working on it and hope to expand the rollout before long. There's no timeline I'm able to provide. Note that we're the ones updating yakju and takju, but not variants of yakju."
