The official Game video thread.

Here's all my game videos:

http://www.mia-media.co.uk/media.html (pick them from the playlist on the right)

Battlefield 2: Clean Sweep map, mainly planes and helicopters with some action on the ground. (Also on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAkc5I9qL5s )

CS:S: Big battle on the office map

Far Cry: Basically I ripped all the cut scenes and timed them to the theme tune.

GTA Liberty City: GTA3 with the Liberty City mod so motorbikes and things.

GTA San Andreas: one of my best, loads of action with the Prodigy as the soundtrack. (Also on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SKerwhtvS4 )

Max Payne: my favourite video, I made it like a sort of trailer in the style of sin city. (Also on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBYIFRzpC6k )

Couple of HL2 videos on my site as well, my site is quite a bit quicker than youtube so you're probably best of using that to watch the vids.

edit/ not 100% sure on all the file sizes but the ones on my site stream at 400kbps, so as long as you have at least 1meg broadband you'll be fine :D All at a res of 480x380ish

Titan quest looks a bit boring really. Click that hit that.......... Very old school game.
Its diablo with a revamped engine, the old classics are still great, imo :)

The thing was, Ive never played it solo, always played it on a private server (admittedly for several hours at a time) with a great friend of mine, both of us on voice comms. Guess that made it a lot more fun.

Hmm, I'm having some real issues with xvid encoding quality atm, its annoying the hell out of me. Even setting the quanitizer to max and ignoring the filesize its not coming out high enough quality, wonder if my superduper new pc is somehow scuppered.

There a great one of me playing Kingpin on youtube, full of swearies though

But if you want to have a look for it kingpin ownage finds it :)

Try a program called Super for encoding it, works really well and does any format you want!

Hmm I really dont like Super, although I use it for the rarer formats.

VV>Uncompressed>Vdub has always worked wonders for me, its just not currently :(
