**** The Official Google Nexus 6P Thread ****

Update 2.
Beautiful 60fps hands on footage, really shows off the handset. More hands on videos should be shot at 60fps.

Hmm, watching that vidoe I think how huge it is as I always do with phones like this. But then he holds it next to the 5X and I think really it doesn't look that much bigger. I've always maintained I don't want a phone that big, but starting to feel tempted.

Woke up this morning to read about all the new toys (new tablet!?). I'm a Nexus 6 owner, so not really looking to upgrade. I love the N6 but its ever so slightly too big.

Both phones - even the 5X are intriguing and I will be watching reviews with interest.

Exact same here actually. Especially when I think that the 5X is almost identical size to the HTC M8.

I want it but I have a Nexus 6 2014 and I don't see the justification to spend money.

Plus it's not big enough, I need moar size.

Pulled the trigger last night. It just seems like they have done everything right with this phone, including the price.
Only gone with 32GB as I don't really install that many big apps / games and all my media is streamed.

Just a shame it doesn't support wireless charging.

Which car charger did you order? Tried a few, never found one that actually does quick charge...

I ordered the Aukey one:

You guys seen the Hummingbird video at 240fps? Watch with volume up :vool:

(Be sure to download the video and watch locally for best quality)

I think people being overly hyped about the new nexus phones have a very very valid reason to be :)

With 6p being too expensive i'm torn whether to get one plus 2 64gb for 290 or LG G4 brown leather for 260. What do people here think? Currently on G2 and will replace it in 12 months again.

I was set on OP2 but that price of LG is making me think about it.

Almost convinced myself to get this so would be interested to know why you cancelled :)

Going for the camera and having frequent updates doesn't justify a rush purchase. On reflection I want my S Pen, want to answer calls using the S View window, still not happy with the new design or another charger/lead and really not getting more then I have at present. A few other considerations (battery/warranty) also came into play.

I unconvinced myself in bed then cancelled at midnight and on second review this morning I'm happy that I did.

So the Note 4 stays, a Note 5/Sony Z5 Premium may come or given that it is not yet 12 months old, sit it out and wait for the S7s/Note 6.

That will teach me to order in the middle of a Champions League game. :D

It's the same technology, just rebranded by Samsung, so I imagine it would if the voltage and amps were correct.

Do you reckon this will be on Amazon eventually?

I can then purchase it without paying VAT and get it delivered to my country :)
