Annoying if true, although to be fair there's less appeal in rooting these days - especially for a Nexus device.
I suppose so yes, but they've only confirmed the root aspect up to now blocking it.But potentially the eFuse could get in the way of android pay. It doesn't as far as I know but that may change.

Has anyone started looking into tempered glass protectors? I haven't a clue what to even look at right now.
Conflicting info from CPW, they've said on Twitter the 26th.
Cheers for that. Saw a few on MobileFun but I might hold out until the thing gets released. Just a bit concerned about mis-cut glass at this early stage.I'm waiting for some people to receive theirs. But orzly can be ordered for £9 and they're usually pretty good.
How very bitter.Let's face it, nobody really knows yet - its just a disappointing trend for nexus devices.
When I looked yesterday at CPW, it said 22nd November for delivery. Today it's saying 'In stock'? For me to get videos out, I really want it ASAP, even if Google is only a day or two behind, that's quite a difference. I'm tempted to order from CPW as well...
Anyone with a CPW order had more info on when it will come?
