I had the original HomePod and I found the sound pretty good. My main concern is Siri. It just doesn't always get what I am a saying. Maybe I am the problem though. Anyhow, I am debating on whether to get this new one. If the price was a little lower, around the £200 - £250 mark, I think these would sell quite well.

Same boat. I wanted one for the ecosystem integration but I’d much rather have Google assistant.

Picked up 2 of the new homepod's this morning from my local John Lewis this morning, very impressed with the sound quality got them hooked up to my Apple Tv.

You can, but unless something has changed from the OG/Mini - the sync is absolute garbage for things like Videos.

Seems to work OK via Control Centre. Doesn't like waking from sleep? Using Apple Music. Sound is awesome.

Has anyone got two of these as a left/right speaker setup and is using (e)arc for other sources like Xbox or PS5?
