I am not at all convinced about their rumoured decisions...

A9-like design

The M7 was - and still is - one of the best-looking smartphones ever made. HTC just got too complacent.

I still pray that HTC has actually managed to keep this phone under intense scrutiny and all the leaks are designed to throw us off.

I know it's HTC and they make questionable decisions but surely even they wouldn't remove the stereo speakers?

It just looks awful.

This company designed the M7 which IMO, made LG and Samsung actually think about design. Now they just don't have a ****ing clue what they're doing. Just give up HTC.

Apparently it will have "front-facing" stereo speakers, by way of virtualisation.

...HTC has devised a method of combining audio from the earpiece speaker and bottom speaker, and applying various virtual audio techniques to give the illusion of two front firing speakers, and create a superior audio experience without the extra bezel room on the front required for that kind of audio in the past.
