Seems to be a pretty important update as it fixes a couple of vulnerabilities that have been exploited, kernel - CVE-2022-32894 and webkit - CVE-2022-32893. Updated my SE earlier, all seems fine.

Any one here clued up on location sharing across platforms? My wife has it on for her mum's iPhone, worked a treat when she used to be on Android. However it now constantly revokes permission for Google Maps to share its location outside app use. A prompt asks if you would like to give access ("always") but it just forgets the selection within a few minutes and you have to give permission again. Can't decide if it's because cross platform or because Google and Apple don't play well.

Well that's a surprise. I have a very old iPad mini 4 running iPadOS 15 and it's just received an update. It's over nine years old!

iPadOS (and iOS) 15.8.3 is out.
