I had a parcel due from DPD last week. It was overnight delivery, but got inexplicably delayed in the Birmingham hub twice and ended up taking 5 days due to the weekend. Bloody useless.

What's a fair price to sell a X 256GB to a friend for? It's just had a new screen and battery (done by Apple) and has Apple Care for another 6 or so weeks. I'm thinking £400-450 or so?

Carphone Warehouse offer £460 for that phone, apply whatever mates rates to that as you see fit.

My Apple order has shipped now via DPD. Can't upgrade the order so its pre 10.30am though which always seems to be the case when you order from Apple directly.

Cheers, I'll probably do this option. Do I need the box and charger etc, or just walk in with my phone, sign out of iCloud and reset phone, hand over and I get some money?
They just want the phone, reset it then set up as new but don’t sign into anything as they install an app to do some tests on the device, then they will just process a refund into your debit card for the trade in amount.

Ive just got my DPD shipping email, looking forward to tomorrow.

Picking up a new iPhone 11 Pro Max (256GB) tomorrow, can anybody recommend a good insurance company for loss/theft/accidental damage?

I've just used the insurance that comes with my bank. Monzo do a fairly decent one covering your items up to £2000 for £12 a month

So I'm downgrading from 256GB to 64GB. What's the best way to delete photos? I've got 45GB of photos on my phone. Am I right in assuming that as long as it's on the iCloud I'm safe to delete the photos off of my phone?

No if you delete from the phone it will delete from iCloud, enable the optimise option under photos and then it will only store photos at full size when you open them.

Oh really? That's annoying as I have that option ticked anyway yet still taking up the bulk of my space

ignore me. I was looking at i cloud storage.

Just had the despatch confirmation email from Apple, my Silver 11 Pro 256 will be arriving tomorrow via DPD.

Its been a long weeks wait after ordering last Friday, happy days!

(Ordered at 13.05 last Friday)

Cheers all
