Have you got live photos on? can't say I have any major delay on mine when zooming?

The camera takes stunning low light shots in bars and clubs. The delay on my phone is due to the extended exposure length and like every extended exposure camera it will blur if the object is moving.

On the plus side the photos my pro max are producing from bars and clubs are night and day difference from the X. we did a side by side test last night.

At gigs I recommend you try inserting your phone into your pocket. Unless it's in between songs.

Is the 11 Pro worth the upgrade from the X? Tempted as I'm at the end of my 2 year contract but this is the least motivated I've ever felt to upgrade my phone. Testament to the performance of the X I guess. My old man is still using my iPhone 7 Plus and that's still going strong too.

Don’t miss Touch ID at all.

Better angles would be nice for FaceID, but other than that I’d take it over Touch ID any day.

Yes I have crushed some of the shadows. Still learning . I have attached a different one.

I think boosting shadows too much on JPEG's doesn't do any favours.

Personal preference obviously but I think the saturation is a bit overkill?

Yes you're probably right. I think the smart HDR already adds a lot of colour so further boosting the saturation makes it look worse.

Looks good. I think this year Apple have got the balance right between HDR and natural. A lot of the XS/XR photos are a bit too flat IMO but this year's look great.

Not sure about the battery on this iPhone. It’s supposed to last longer, but tbh, it feels like my 8 plus had better battery life.

Certainly not my experience with the 11 Pro Max - the battery is a beast!
