***The Official LG Nexus 4 Accessories Thread***

Does anyone have the Bugatti pouch? They look beautiful, I want to get one but I also want to get a bumper and I'm not sure if the phone with bumper will fit in the pouch.

Here's the link:

EDIT: Never mind, I found my answer. The phone by itself is tight within the pouch.

unless there is a note 2 version? or even a note 1 version?

i have an s line wave case on mine and i bought a bugatti pouch thinking i could stretch it, it fits, but it actually takes a long fight to get it on and off, therefore not ideal. i wish people on here had made it clear how tight it was before going on and on about how good it was.

Cheers mate. I don't think there's a note version, I haven't found one anyway.

Is it a pain to get the phone in and out of the pouch without the case on it?

Anyone have the official bumper?

It's never in stock whenever i check.

I have the s line gel case for now, which is nice, but makes it seem a little chunky.

How much different are the poetic bumpers to the official?

Anyone know of a Griffin Survivor type alternative? Colleague has one on his iPhone and I'd love to get something like it for my Nexus 4.

Mine came this morning - ordered last Wednesday around 4pm. It fits really well and stops the phone from sliding around on glossy surfaces but provides no protection for the glass of course, other than hopefully cushioning the blow if the phone gets dropped. It's pretty poor value for money but I'm going to stick with using just this as I don't want anything more cumbersome. Let's face it, glass is going to scratch... it'll give an excuse to upgrade again in a year or two :)

without a case it is fine, but not very well protected from drops, only scratches, it's made of glass, so drop protection is essential imo

Damn. I really don't want a case. Naked phones are the way forward. Shame that a bumper doesn't provide much drop protection.

I've dropped my desire HD so many times, and it's only when I dropped it from a big height onto the corner of some rock that the screen actually smashed.

Got my quicksand cases, loved the Rock version on my HTC One X so had to spoil the Nexus with it. Before you ask why I have two N4s one is a RMA which I need to return back this weekend.

I love the feel of the quicksand cases, slim yet offer some protection, upper and bottom chrome bezel not protected but feel better in the hand compared to my TPU cases and S-Line case which I have and feels less bulkier compared to those. Was bored of black cases so decided to add some colour! Took about 1 week to arrive from eBay.

I like the grey one, very nice.

Does it offer some protection to the front when its on its face? I can't tell from the pics.

So would pouches for the HTC One X fit the Nexus 4? They seem a similar size. I was looking at the Mofi pouches but couldn't see ones specifically for the Nexus 4, unless I've missed them.

Has anyone tried the poetic slimbook leather case? I'm tempted to have a go with this, but for the time being I've just ordered a HTC branded pull up leather case!

Today I randomly decided to do something about the msm_hsic_host wakelock. While this is known, I thought I might as well share the fix that's available on XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2102986

This is the best solution for those that want a kernel as close to stock as possible (typically to ensure the experience is as smooth as possible), but want to fix the wakelock. The fix literally just uses the stock kernel but with the fixes applied. Personally would rather not go with the alternative kernel routes, as I have found they are noticeably more jittery, yet if I go by the battery life claims made by many, they seem to yield little to no improvement.

I have only just installed it so cannot comment on whether or not it works. Will provide updates tomorrow.
