Mine is still processing and has an estimated dispatch for tomorrow :(

Not sure the 3 dynamic themes & 3 extra armours I am getting are going to be worth the delay (or money) Next time I will go with a more trusted retailer that can get it to me on launch day
 
I watched the Giantbomb footage of this they just posted, I didn't even make it to the end of the video it just seemed really tedious, run to objective, kill someone, get killed, respawn and repeat.
 
I was really looking forward to this but when I played the open beta I wasnt very impressed with it. Graphics (might have been just beta issues) looked poor. I could forgive that though but the shooting mechanics were poor.

I found myself shooting from the hip and getting head shots without even trying. I am sure its better than the beta but it put me off until buying it straight on release.
 
I haved purchased the metal tinned version of this hopefully gets delivered tomorrow :D
I did play the beta and downloaded the big patch after the new year and i got to say the improvements made it a much better game .
Also i remember i played with skippi dinakin polymonial and a few others and i think we managed to protect our area at least on the defensive maps ,
i enjoyed myself anyway even if you lot think it suck :p;)
Will have to see who else fell victim on my friends list tomorrow then :)
 
its arrived and ive spent 60 mins on it

i dont like it :(

the gunplay is crap you have to put half a clip in someone to drop them :(
 
Come on then chaps lets have some reviews ... I'm keen to know what this game is like as I'm still very much in two minds whether to get it or now.

After playing the beta, it's a miss for me.

Unresponsive, bad framerate(may be because it was beta) and not fun to play at all.
 
Really good game (I got collectors edition) If you hate MW2, you will love MAG.

It does have some crappy framerates on some maps in some areas, but that's the only negative comment i have to say. Gameplay is great, crisp and smooth.

Buy it.

Was on with a bunch of americans and english last night and we had a good laugh as not all of them were too clued in as to what was going on.
If you have a team that knows what to do you will get on fine- if not, then you are screwed! this can be said for a lot of online games though.
Don't go expecting mind blowing visuals or sound as you'll be disappointed. They serve a function and don't detract from the gameplay, but aren't completely horrendous.
A good few have complained about the controls in regards to aiming- It is different to the usual COD movement but i've come from playing Battlefield Bad company and it actually reminded me of that, so i adapted easily.
There is slight frame rate issues here and there but nothing majorly off putting and it's not as if every game on the shelf has run perfectly.
I'm currently playing the acquisition mode and really enjoy it - an objective where you have to acquire 2 vehicles from the opposite team, aswell as the main objective you can take out their defenses etc to make the going a bit easier so there's always plenty to do.
As i've said before, if in doubt then wait for a price drop. With AVP and Bad company2 on the horizon it's going to be a great online feast!
 
Collectors edition should be arriving this morning :)

BTW what factions are you guys going with? Like the look of raven, kinda reminds me of vanu in planetside :p

I have picked sver and the majority of the friends on my ps3 have picked them also .
Had a right blast on it last night and im a medic again like in kz2 :)
