Just had aquick go, level 3 Raven so far.

Is it just me or is it really hard to start off with? No one was on comms, no one helped me when I was bleeding out, it was literally a load of blokes just running around randomly. Oh and when I shot a team mate, by accident as its hard to see the diference, the Squad Leader demanded that I was kicked from the game :/

What factions are people on here? Don't mid changing as I've only just started and would much rather play with people on he

edit: Decided to read the thread and seems a few of you are SVER, might change then!
 
It actually seems quite good - I played 2 rounds of Sabotage as that is all I can play.

First map I was OK ended up positive in K/D.... 2nd time round got a whipping as I had no idea what to do.

My headset is charging, so hope thats ready for a late session tonight - game seems to have a lot of promise and you do get a sense of something big is going on, even though im probably on in a 32v32 game.
 
Well I've played for 2hours, now a level 5 and on any of the games except the TDM type one, I have no idea where I'm meant to go! I literally wander round die, respawn and repeat. And when I do go with others no one uses medikit properly.

I'll play more this weekend but I might sell it on and wait for BFBC2, preferred the beta a lot more
 
I must admit that my experience has probably been the opposite Tsinc.

Playing as SVER ive unlocked the 128 player mode as im level 8 as the game has opened up a lot more. Although ive not been on Comms (listening not talking) the squads ive been in either use chat or use waypoints/objectives so you know what to hold in your unit.

The battles are intense, ive finally figured out what to do with the repair kit :o, even though i started off my trying to heal people with it and wondering why nothing was happening :D

My skill upgrades are a bit mish mash as I go, but im still stuck with a SMG/Sniper or LMG and no new weapons have unlocked.

The only downsides ive seen so far are.... ive never played against Valor! In all the games i played last night it was SVER v Raven. And the other thing which takes away some immersion is that at the end of a map, you all drop out and reconnect invariably playing with a totally different squad/platoon. Id assume this is overcome if you are in a clan/group but its a shame that individual players dont get that continuity as sometimes the teamwork really takes this game to the next level.

Easily the best team based FPS game ive played and its quite comfortable playing with the PS3 pad.

I didn't like MW2 at first as I was getting my ass handed to me but I stuck with that so it's only fair to give this a chance.

And I agree about once the game is finished you just start all over again, I'd much prefer it if you could stick with the same squad instead of just being hoofed out, seemed odd to me!

if you go sver you can squad with me and you don't need to rejoin a new squad everytime
 
when u first play it is hard to no wat to do but after a while u get the hang of things and it becomes a totally new game!!

allso not every one with the medic sign can bring u back from the dead!! means they can heal as well!!

iam rank 28 will be 35 end of the afternoon, i hope! see u out there

I got some Madcat one or something, its like the 'generic computer shop' version of the headset if you see what I mean. Its ok though, sound is fine and mic works ok (well it did when i used it for Motorstorm PR).

Have you setup a Clan then Neil?
