Thread revival where you at!

Just bagged brand new copies of Mass Effect (classics w/ bonus content) and Mass Effect 2 for £12 big ones. I did have ME1 before and rather enjoyed it but then got a bit confused with all the sci-fi talk, put it down and flogged it.

But I love RPGs so much, and this is an ultimate rpg so decided to grab them and gonna play it all the way through this time.

Then number 3 will be due out!
 
Played the first one yonks ago when I had an xbox. Now I have a PS3 and decided to get the second.

Got to say, really impressed. I loved the fact that they have that comic at the start which re-tells the story of the first one and also gives you some of choices and paths which you would have had to do in the first game. This then drives straight in to the second installment which seems a lot slicker than the first.

I have only played around 6 hours of it so I still loads more to do but loving every minute of it.

Such an epic RPG action adventure.

Well I got mine last week and the only things I could see that I got were the blood dragon armor one or two different wepons the The Kasumi DLC, the Overlord DLC, the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC came with the game.........Not sure if that was because of the Cerberus code or not.

So I checked the mass effect 2 official site and they said

"Activate your Cerberus Network card and receive access to exclusive benefits. Revisit the emotionally stirring Normandy SR-1 crash site, recruit the deadly bounty hunter for hire Zaeed Massani, equip the latest gear and firepower with the Cerberus Assault Armour and Eviscerater Shotgun, and pilot the formidable Hammerhead. With more content and updates coming free to Cerberus Network members, make sure you activate your card inside your copy of Mass Effect 2. Check back often for all the latest info and upcoming content for Mass Effect 2!"

So it seems that its essential for the DLC........but I could be wrong.

The paid for DLC is free on the PS3 Blu-ray apart from Arrival. The Cerberus Network DLC (as listed above) you can only get with the Cerberus code. I'd say it's not really worth it. Zaeed is the best bit but it's not worth a tenner.
 
I completed ME1 last week, the first couple of hours where pretty awful, and I was close to flogging it again cos it bored me so. But I persevered with it and really enjoyed it towards the end... Even though it got a little tiresome and I was happy when it ended.

Started playing number 2 now and this is a vast improvement on the first, really enjoying this so far and think it's a pretty fantastic game! The world seems so much more alive and believable, the world in ME1 seemed dead and dull!
 
i completed the first, then not long after 2nd, when i saw mass effect 2 in the shops i thought like, who the hell is that man on the dvd, then i remembered, fully customised my chars face :D good thing is, all the stuff was transfered from me1 to 2nd, even the chars looks, great stuff. As stated above spoilers free, so cant really talk about the game, get it if u haven't yet, AND play first before trying 2nd
