*** The Official Nintendo Switch 2 ***

I find it interesting there isn't a Switch 2 Lite model. Maybe that'll come in the future sometime? But for me I'm a docked only user. I have a 4k TV but most of the stuff I watch is DVD or Blu-ray so 576p or 1080p.
Did the Lite actually sell that well?

id be happy with it if its scratch resistance was more than a fingernail. Ive put a screen protector on but that shouldnt be mandatory and I never did with my oled or other devices.

Anyone got the Mumba Blade S2 case?

Not too expensive, dockable, adds some ergonomics to the joycons and seems like you can still detach the joycons while leaving the case on and docked.

We are enjoying ours so far. Loving Mario kart for family multiplayer. However I am looking forward to a compelling single player game, as it has fully captured us as the main gaming device right now, we are still reverting to the pc and ps5.

I agree. Looks great to me but I never had an OLED so I can’t compare it to that only the original.
I had that, and it was better in some ways, but the Switch 2 screen is better in others, but there definately is a blur/smear to it that feels a bit...wierd.

One of the current rumours is that the current screen response time issues are not actually the panel, but that it is deliberately undervolted (let alone overdriven) to save power.

That being the case, if enough feedback comes out about this, it is quite possible that Nintendo will add a 'Screen Power Savings' option in the display settings, with efficiency/performance option, which allow you to either leave as is (default), or to enable default/overdrive voltage to the display to improve the response rate at the cost of battery life. It is absolutely abnormal for a modern screen with the other feature support the S2 screen carries, to have such poor response times; leading to guess its a power saving choice. (45ms at worse, when average of even cheap modern displays is sub 20ms, and sub 10ms for gaming orientated screens)

That way you'd have the option depending on whether you care or see it, or play titles that are affected; to either speed the screen back up to however its manufacturer intended, or to the power saving settings Nintendo have decided to default to.

It may be that such a thing is already on Nintendo's radar; given how long it took them to add Bluetooth headphone support to the Switch 1. Would actually be a pretty sweet display for an LCD if they did that, and it got the screen response times down to sub 8/16ms so the 120Hz refresh rate was actually allowed to exist.

Tempted by Roller Coaster Tycoon and Dungeons 4.

Not sure if Roller Coaster Tycoon Adventures Deluxe or Roller Coaster Tycoon Classic is a better option though.

I was a massive fan of Dungeon Keeper 2 back in the day so Dungeons 4 seems like a no brainer.

I was wondering about the Roller Coaster Tycoon ones myself, I actually don't think I've ever played any of them, loved Theme Park on my PS1 but never really played anything like that since.

Well I've spent the day with the Killswitch; can report zero issues with the grips - mine seem to line up fine and aren't causing any issue at all (won't stop me asking for a free pair though - spares always handy!) - looking at a video explaining the issue it seems like some slightly cover the serial number text; mine don't obscure that at all so I think I've got a good set here.

Usability wise the extra grip is night and day over the "Naked" switch; just so much better to handhold, I think I've already handheld it more tonight than in the 2-3 weeks of owning it!!

Case seems great too with the travel cover, will be very sturdy for chucking in a bag when I'm on the move!
