**** The Official Note 4 thread ****

Mine is still showing as 'Pending' checks. I called today to ask them to confirm it had been put through and he did it with me on the phone. No email from O2, nothing from them and nothing in my Mobiles.co.uk account. Ordered on Saturday at 4:30pm.

Pretty unhappy at this moment in time! :(
 
^ Get your o2 data allowance increased while you wait for it. BTW what colour handset did you order?

Just received a text message confirming delivery for tomorrow.
 
Ordered a black one.

I've had nothing from O2 yet, so pretty sure they won't be able to bind an upgrade to anything? According to Mobiles.co.uk account page, my order is still Pending.

Hmm, when I scanned through the hukd thread earlier, most those who ordered the black handset on Sat/Sun even Monday had just started receiving dispatched emails.

Trying to get 5gb data atm but they won't budge from £33.
Just accidentally shut chat doh. The bloke I had was saying they can't discount it anymore than £33 because it isn't possible.

I forgot my brother had ordered the exact same Note 4 deal as me. His has also been dispatched and he's also just tried getting the £2 discount (from £33 to £31) but the guy wouldn't budge so in the end, I pointed him to my account and he confirmed the chat I had earlier and said he isn't able to apply the discount because 'it's not letting him' but he's trying to get his manager to do it and he said he will email my brother back within 24 hrs.

With these online chats or even when you ring these network providers up, it's a lottery - just depends on who you speak to from my experience. The information you get from one person can be completely different to what another person says.
 
Yeah, the lady I was talking to on the online chat said no initially but after she spoke to a manager she arranged the deal.

e36Adz, you didn't seem to have any issues getting the deal though?

I went to o2 in pursuit of the £33/month deal which my mate told me about, she ended up offering me the discount without me even asking.

The same mate has since spoken to two other o2 advisors via the online chat and neither can offer him the £31 a month so he's settled for the £33 a month (but £31 for the first month).

The guy my brother spoke to at o2 genuinely did not believe the £2 discount could be applied since the £33 deal according to him was already a discounted price. Once I pointed him to my account and he had a look in, he tried to sort it out through his manager. We'll see if he emails back...
