**** The Official Note 4 thread ****

I've not even using the old YouTube app and the video looks absolutely stunning. If any of you clever folk can download that clip in full 1440p send me a link please!
 
I had that too the first time I tryed it. Then I deleted the cache n data..uninstslled. restarted phone and then installed the old version and it works...the 1080p and 1440p option showed up.

Try that video I posted above in 1440p. Stunning.
 
One last question folks before mobiles.co.uk reply to me tomorrow, were all 3 of the external box seals actually sealed or were any cut or removed etc... (just don't want them to fob me off etc...) :)
 
I have to say it does look superb. back to back 720p vs 1440p there wasn't a huge difference that I could see. Tested it a few times. Very subtle.
 
I still think Samsung should have just put a 1080p screen in the Note 4, better battery life, less stress on the CPU/GPU and no real noticeable difference?

Yeah not a worthwhile difference.. . But it what it is.

I don't think the extra pixels are that taxing in general use, just in games.

Mine were all sealed.
 
I clicked software update yeah n it's ticked to automatically check..n it says software is up to date..but I haven't seen it download anything.
