Reading the reviews of the Nexus 6 and this really seems like the better choice to me.
. Just plonked a 32GB SDCard into my unit and completely forgot about KitKat blocking writing to external cards. Now I really do have to root![]()
I guess they wont be offering free swapsies with the lesser new note 4 pen that we bought then?
I only really use my SD card for photos from the Note4, still seems to be working ok for me.Tell me about it ! One of the stupidest things ever.
I'm hoping the next version (lollipop) changes this, but I'm not holding my breath.
So far my Note4 is sitting at 1d 20hrs with 4hrs 25min SoT time. Battery is sitting at 12% so far. Such a big difference from my Find5. Just plonked a 32GB SDCard into my unit and completely forgot about KitKat blocking writing to external cards. Now I really do have to root![]()
Where's the cheapest place to pick one up sim free I'm with 3 and have 4 months remaining on contract went to 3 today and told me they couldn't sell me one on payg ee have them at 529 but was told I cart unlock it for 6 months don't know how true that is
I know Lollipop fixes this write deny thing with external cards but what I've done is the following. It's possible to work around the issue for most things. What exactly do you want to do?

In the DCIM folder located on my SD Card, I've thrown a huge amount of old phone images in named folders. I use the app Quickpic as my gallery app and this picks them up and displays them accordingly - no problem. However I cannot delete these images from within quickpic as I get this error message.

The only real way is to do this is remove sd card and do the job on the PC. Basically I have to root the phone, and install one of the many SD Card fix apps on the playstore but I don't want to root just yet...the pressure is mounting though.
