steve45: does the case slide around a lot on a table?
Erm... not overly so, can i assume you are looking at it from a train/plane travel point of view?
Cant say i noticed it happening but then the only time it was on a table or flat surface was when it was on charge over night, where it would clearly not be moving round much.
when it was sitting on the dash of my Pinzgauer when traveling offroad, cant say i noticed it moving about much.

If you look closely at the rear of the case you will see 6 small raised nodules, they are slightly softer compound to the rest of the case, i guess they would reduce sliding.
What i would say though is that the Spigen Neo Hybrid thats fitted at the moment is a lot more reluctant to sliding when pushed around on my computer desk than the I-Blason is.

I'm looking at possibly getting one of these soon but I have a couple of questions.

Firstly, through experience with Samsung phones in the past they have a tendency to suffer from some slowdown. Is this true with the Note 4?

Also, after looking around the net for places to buy this phone I have noticed that there are different model numbers. What do these relate to and what is the best one? For example I have seen N910U, N910F, N910C etc etc.

The F is the Snapdragon which is the more common one and easier to mod and create custom roms for ect. The exynos is the C which is 64bit so its a little more future proof.

decided I really hate this spigen neo hybrid case...its stupidly hard to remove and I need to remove it when putting in a spare battery.

Is anyone using the official S view flip case?

My Note 4 just burnt out its USB socket while charging, the micro USB connecter is also blackened, lucky the wife heard it "fizzing" and gave me a shout before it got any worse.

This happened to my S4 a few weeks back, literally days before my Note 4 arrived, i'm a bit paranoid now, and its little concerning that its still happening with the note as well.

Well after about two weeks of owning the Note4 I have to say I am loving the device - coming from an Oppo Find 5.

So far it is sitting at 2 days idling and 3hrs SoT with 33% battery remaining. No longer do I have to remotely care about battery life when I go out anymore. Calls are clear and loud (my Find 5 failed in this area with various roms) and the only slowdown I still notice is with the recent apps menu as most have noticed.

Wanam Xposed has made TouchWiz a bit more bearable by allowing me to colourise the notification pulldown to all black.

I am becoming irritated with S-Health though - it keeps telling me via notifications and sound alerts about my pedometer count despite me pausing the feature. I am close to uninstalling the sod but don't know if other less intrusive apps utilise the same sensors on the device.

I am still using the Spigen Slim Armour case from a few pages back despite it making the device much wider and thicker overall. At least that protruding camera lens is protected.
