**** The Official Note 4 thread ****

edges look way too square and Sony ish for my liking. might look "nice" but can't see it being comfortable especially if its metal...

Agreed, that was my thoughts exactly when I saw the proposed design.

I had the Z2 for three days and couldn't get used to the size or the way the edges dug into the palm of my hand.

Samsung have done wonders with the design here but if it stays the way it is then I'll have to pass.

always said no because it was not AMOLED :o

That sums up why I tend to stick with samsung devices.

I absolutely love amoled screens for media consumption which is what I use phones and tablets for most of the time.

I hate touchwiz though, and feel it really needs some serious optimisation.

While it's gotten better it's still the main cause of lag and stutter.

If oled screens became common in other devices then I'd definitely look elsewhere. The features samsung use to differentiate themselves are mostly useless for me personally and I rarely use them. Infact when I had the note 3 I didn't even use the stylus lol. I only like the notes due to having a bigger screen.

My note 3 has a lot of good features let down by being a bit easy to break. If the note 4 has a bit better build then I'll get one.

Seems Samsung have finally managed to figure out how to make metal phones. Looks really nice, if your into that sort of sized phone.

I guess the new GalaxyS phone will be metal too.

The S-Pen looks like it sticks out ridiculously.

I know what you mean but in this picture it's sitting flush

Looks fake to me.

I think it's real for some reason. I'm looking forward to the official announcement.

To be honest I put my phones in a case anyway so the looks aren't overly important to me. I'm hoping the specs are a bigger step up from the note 3 than the s5 was to the s4.

I'd be disappointed if the screen resolution was 1080p with 3gb of ram in the UK and then samsung release an LTE-A version in korea with better specs like they did for the s5.

Looks fake to me.

I agree, something a bit fishy going on.

Also the gsmarena pics are slightly different to the phonearena pics.

Plus Samsung are really good at keeping the design of their flagships under wraps, not leaked until a couple days before announcement.

Looks awesome :D

I still don't understand peoples obsession with stereo speakers, phone speakers are never going to be good enough. Just plus some headphones in

Looks alright... very safe. So not much of an opinion either way yet tbh.

We're those photos with the screen going over the side that came out last week fake?
