**** The Official Note 4 thread ****

I went in to an EE store a couple of days back, they said they only ordered the Note 4 for pre-orders, so I guess there would be a wait now similar to any other site.

I'm waiting on the more expensive version, the Ultra Crystal, normally around £13 and is available on Amazon US, but not in the UK yet (I've emailed SGP about it).

The Ultra Crystal is the best I've ever used, had one on my Note 2, but will use the cheaper version for now, not going to risk my screen :)
 
OKay, just got an e-mail from Clove that Samsung have in fact pushed it back again to the 31st... :(

So, is it possible to walk in anywhere and pick one up, SIM free?

Thanks, are these things easy to get off? I'd like to stick a glass one on once they are available...
 
Handtec had stock yesterday, in fact I bought one. Looks like it's a German unit and they supplied a UK 2 pin adapter for the charger and 5v Samsung adapter.

Just wondering if any of you guys with a correct UK 9v charger (fast charging) could put post up the part number?

Was obviously running the store demo that whole time on full brightness. Over 9 hours full brightness screen on video playback... impressive! :D

Not really considering there are no accounts synching, no sim card inserted so no network radio pulling power, only WiFi so essentially it was a WiFi tablet and would get tablet level battery performance :p Any other phone that was not a Nexus 5 would likely get the same kind of result :cool:
 
Picked mine up on Saturday from Tesco... Am smitten with it, but this evening a fault has developed on the screen. Two lines have appeared perpendicular to each other - one running all the way down the right side of the screen a few mm from the edge, the other running horizontal about a third up it. They appeared while I was reading some emails, and they're there even when it's powering up through the splash screen.

I've rung Tesco and they don't have any stock to replace it with, I don't fancy getting it fixed under warranty with Samsung as they'll just repair the phone and I don't want one that's been butchered. Just have to hope Tesco get stock soon.

:P i got 30% down from last night hammering it all day yesterday mate and must have downloaded a few gigs of music from spotify for offline playlist!

the battery is immense i tell ya

I bet you took some flack off the iphone fans when you revealed 7 out of 12 new iphones bent and it wasn't because fat fools put them in a back pocket and sat on them.
