This phone really does not feel big at all, I never had this experience with the Note 2/3, maybe it's because I'm coming from an S5 but it really feels average sized and I can still use one hand to function the phone weirdly. I'm pretty sure it's due to the metal frame which makes it feel more sturdy in the hand.
Has anyone else made a similar switch to the Note 4 and found the same?

I went from a Note 3 to a Note 4 and I was convinced the Note 4 was narrower, it felt narrower in the hand for some reason, even when holding them both side by side.
It must be the way it's been designed, just like the Nexus 6 with the curved back. Some people are looking at the thickness of that as a negative because its a millimetre or two thicker than the next device but I suspect it will feel much better in the hand than what you'd normally expect from a 6 inch device, more so than a similar sized device that is just flat. Those sorts of differences are negligible imo.

You're not going crazy, the Note 4 is a bit (0.5mm) narrower and I can feel the very slight difference too: http://www.phonearena.com/phones/si...Note-4,Samsung-Galaxy-Note-3/phones/8577,7984
Actually, depending on whether the measurements on that site are at the widest point (i.e the top and bottom corners on the Note 4), it might even be very slightly more than 0.5mm as the metal frame tapers inwards a bit away from the corners.

Just had an email from mobiles.co.uk, my new replacement Note 4 will be with me tomorrow, here's hoping for a non-lemon 
I think i got caught out at a weak moment, Three called me today for early renewal, the cute sounding girl really won me over, i now have one of these winging its way to me, looking forward to it though, cant say i was really wanting for a new phone but i guess i'm a sucker for new tech... and a sweet voice...
Oh well i guess its a step up from my slightly abused looking SGS4

It even looks narrower from the pic on that site. It definitely felt narrower in the hand than the Note 3, but this website says something different:

The difference will be tiny either way, but the screen on this beast is just something else.
Download 'tubemate.apk' from google and it lets you download youtube videos in full 1440p, I've now got about 5 clips. The clarity, and the colours are the best I've ever seen on ANY screen, period. I think I need a 4k set at home now, normal HD just doesn't cut it anymore.
I know not many people are bothered, and I will be able to tell myself in a few days, but how is the speaker on the Note 4? Not for music, but for voices? One of the best things about the Note 3 is how loud and clear my podcasts are.
