****The Official Note III Thread****

My Mate at work bought the Note III and I had a good go on the phone. Wow is all that I can say...it's a beast! I'm really impressed....wish I didn't like it so much because I'm really tempted. The screen is amazing it's blazingly fast and fluid but to my surprise it's not as big as I thought it would be and it actually fit in my slim jeans and didn't look too bad at all!

Am being dim...but what is this £429 deal going on? Reading through the posts I've narrowed it down to ebay but can't find the actual shop...someone help me please! lol
 
It's one of OCuk's main competitors, and it's based in Bolton, that should give you enough idea of what to look for on ebay

I keep seeing this from people but Overclockers don't sell mobile phones so how can they have a competitor in a market they dont sell to?? Nobody's reticent about mentioning Argos or PC world or Asda but they all sell some products that overclockers sells too.

I understand its your forums and therefore your rules but as a customer i think its a bit ott, what if Google decided nobody could mention any of their competitors whilst using its search engine or email or other products. There's enough censorship creeping into everyday life in this country as it is..

Anyway rant over, I have been browsing this thread as thinking of getting a new phone soonish my aging Apple (can i mention them?:rolleyes:) Iphone 4 is really getting slooooow now. Not sure i want to go as big as a note though, is this realistically 'pocketable' rather than 'technically' pocketable?

Mine just arrived :D, just installing the raft of OTA updates, for £429 it's abit of a bargain.

Now what to do with this iPhone 5S, think it gonna be sold on which will pay for this note 3 and put a few quid in the pocket aswell :)
 
Has anyone gone from a Note 2 to the 3?

EE and 3 are switching on 4G in my area before Christmas, but atill have 11 months left to run on my current T-Mob contract, so would have to do some paying off of that contract ...... or buy SIM free and then transfer over (which may be dificult to justify to Mrs S when we are saving like the crazies for house deposit)

Sell your note 2 for £200-£230 and spend £200 on an upgrade. Convert to sim only at the end of your current contract = Profit?

Those rules have always been in place on OCuk forums, the place that selling the Note 3 also a major player in the PC hardware business aswell, hence why you can't mention it.

But i have to agree with you though people should be able to mention other places aswell, as i shop a lot at the place in Bolton as it's pretty local to me, but also use OCuk just as much when ordering online.
 
Samsung really should let you change the dpi on there OS, it's ridiculous you only have the same function as the S4 on the home screens but have far more screen size and resolution
