*New Features this Season*


  • If you don't use your free transfer then it will carry over to the next Gameweek. New for this season - if you don't use the saved transfer in the next Gameweek then it will be carried over until you do. (You can never have more than one saved transfer. The wildcard is the only way to make more than two free transfers in a Gameweek)

  • January and February can be a testing time for Fantasy Premier League managers with the transfer window open and the potential of fixture changes..... To help ease the pain we're introducing a second wildcard which can only be used between Gameweeks 23 and 27. This extra wildcard will be available straight after the start of Gameweek 22 (4 Jan 19:30) up to the Gameweek 27 deadline (12 Feb 11:30). The current wildcard can still be played at anytime.

  • A player scoring an own goal will now lose 2 points.

Just been reading the new features for this season and you can now not only carry across free transfers for two weeks (i.e. dont make a transfer for 2 weeks in a row the third week lets you make 2) there's also 2 wild cards! Albeit one can only be made during the January window

They're making the game a little easier then, even if the prices to begin with are harder than ever!
 
Who fancies posting their team then? :p

My midfield is dire apart from Lampard and Valencia :(
 
Am I the only one who snapped up Robbie Keane? 5.5 is surely the bargain of the century!

Chelsea should have sold him last summer when Bayern were sniffing around. Shame he's had all these problems really as he was immense in his first season, one of my star buys for that seasons FF as well :D

Highly doubt it to be honest, City's spending isn't finished yet, they've already signed Silva and are probably going to add at least Milner & Balotelli to their squad. Add Tevez to those and they cant all play

That's without mentioning SWP, Bellamy or Adebayor
 
I had my team all set but with Alex being ruled out that gives me a decision to make, need a defender for 6m, most of the Chelsea boys though are upwards of 7m :(

Also need to decide whether or not to take Drogba out of my team.....
 
Had my first real rejig tonight following the news that Drogba may be out, probably going to un do it all if it turns put he'll be fit for the first game :p
 
must have been something they've brought in this year then as prices definitely varied that season and I seem to recall them doing likewise last year as well

With Rio being injured presumably it will come down to Brown or Evans to partner Vidic. My gut feeling is to pick Wes Brown because he may play at RB even if not at CB, but I'm not sure what Fergie fancies, whether he'll be looking to bring Neville back or go for the younger, more exuberant Cafu.

Evans will play alongside Vidic

RB spot will go to either Rafael, O'Shea or Neville I would imagine
 
With the news that Drogba will be back for the start of the season I've had to have a re-jig to get him back in my team

That's what the transfer's are all about ;)

Having loads of talent on your bench just confuses things especially when you've got players on your bench that do better than those who are in you're team - worst form of torture that!

My bench consists of Parnaby & Ferguson of Birmingham, Foley of Wolves (2 defenders and a midfielder) and my sub keeper Carson of West Brom

That's the only clues you're getting about my team though :D

Bite the bullet and dock yourself some points then, you look at the very highest scorers world wide every season and they can make 4/5 transfers a week and it pays off for them

I've gone for Foster & Carson

Personally I dont see the point in spending loads of money on a keeper, it's almost always the cheapest ones that get the most points as well
