Hmm, for some reason Ba hasn't been subbed in to replace Phil Jones, who didn't play
That's 9 points I'm being cheated out of!!! Scandalous!
96 points for me this week and that was with the Ox on the bench
Moved up to 7th
if you had 3 defenders, and one didnt play, ba wont come in as its an ilegal formation! i questioned it last week ,lol
Im confused, says i paid 12.2 for vp in gameweek 11, yet in his history he has never been sold for 12.2, hmmmm
The price isn't static, what they quote in the history is what it was at the start of the gameweek, basically it went up from 12.1 to 12.4 over the course of a gameweek and you got in when it was 12.2.
It's quite frustrating actually, as (especially in long gameweeks) you can have a situation where you want to buy a new player, but you want to wait a few days to see if anyone gets injured/suspended before using your free transfer on the deal, and then by the time you buy the player their price has changed!
I've probably lost out on at least £0.6-1.0m this season due to those sort of fluctuations, there's even been an occasion where a deal I'd been planning had to be abandoned because the prices fluctuated so much in the gameweek I could no longer afford it.
Essentially there is now an element of game theory involved - when doing deals you have to factor in not only your own views on transfers but also try to predict what others are going to do - if there is likely to be spate of deals on a player (lets say he's just scored a hattrick) often it is worth pulling the trigger even if the transfer window doesn't close for another say 7 days. Sods law says your star player then gets injured of course!![]()
