Sturridge scored two goals behind a closed doors match last night
Where's your info? I heard the behind closed doors match was against Newcastle.
EDIT: Seen on Twitter he scored 2 pens? And the result was 3-1. But no info on starting line up, sounds like we played a weak team with Dan Gosling scoring and Adam Campbell getting the assist for our goal...

Yep that was the case. I think our "seniors" consisted of Obertan, Gouffran, Gosling and Campbell.
I think the match was set up as a run out for Sturridge, really annoying reading all the Liverpool fans on twitter rave on about him and the club. A) it was a friendly B) not 1 player we sent will be in the starting XI on Monday C) Liverpool fans are mugs.

Actually, I think Sturridge is a good shout, he did quite well last season when he joined, but tailed off a little towards the end. I think he is a guaranteed 15 to perhaps 20 goals a season.
He is probably a safer bet than Soldado.

Sturridge is indeed a massive shout. However I currently have a forward line up of Tekkers, Lukaku and Soldado. Will be looking to bring in Sturridge for Benteke straight after. Someone who is Liverpools main striker, you can't ignore this.
Keep in mind mate Liverpool have scored 17 goals and only conceded twice over 7 games in pre season.
Spurs have scored 11 goals and conceded 10 times over 6 games.
They also have defensive worries with the following either still out, recovering, or lacking match fitness: Dawson, Kaboul and Vertonghen.

^^ Exactly the reason why I went with Mignolet for now. I did have Lloris and Jaaskaleinen but Mignolet cheaper and decided not to have a top 2nd keeper so went with Bunn. Freed up more money for attack.
With Bale either going or staying he is still a good punt. Bale only played one Spurs pre season due to injury, will be lacking match fitness at least.
Your saying that yet Aspas has been in form for Liverpool in preseason, I can see Sturridge been put out as a RW as suarez will be coming back into the centre when his suspensions up and he apologies

Haha joking. Just make sure the keeper you go with doesn't have high ownership, when people transfer him out, the player will lose value, thus you'll lose money to invest in your team.
