what a terrible week that was, silva injured, most people had ya ya as captain (that went well...) dzeko poor, everton losing to palace........:(
 
10 minutes to the final lock in of the season, close to winning my work league, just need to overturn a 17point gap that I've whittled down from over 100 the last couple of months. Just need all results to go my way for once!
 
I'm 2nd in most my leagues, the two I'm most interested in I've been really unlucky and the guys in 1st have been so lucky! For instance, one guy didn't touch his team for a week, left a bunch of injured guys on the pitch, and his automatic subs turned out to get him silly amounts of point, argh! Then last week with the DGW, I took some big points hits to get MUTD and City players in, then my choices were either injured just before the game (Rooney) or injured just after the first game to not play the second. SO annoying as I'm just a few points behind.

Here's hoping my differentials this week pull through. In the top 40 for the OcUK league so not too shabby.

TL;DR I'm crap at FF
 
Great season this year, both in terms of the real thing and FPL.

The H2H and league have still yet to be decided. :)

That is a similar scenario to my league. I had a 100 point lead, got whittled down to 17ish, i've lost by about 5 this week so just about clung on, and i have a sub to come on too. Unless there's some really nasty end of season bonus points added I think i've just about done it.

I transferred Ramsey with Eriksen today as i thought Ramsey wouldn't play, lost out on 5 points now :( :p

I finished 19th in the standard OcUK league which is ok. In the OcUK H2H league, I finished 3rd after being in the top 3 for most of the season. So overall, not bad. Looking forward to next season now.

Time for the end of season review:

The Heroes:
-Coleman: had him from the start @£5m until he got injured
-Dzeko: Pellegrini was talking him up in preseason so I took a punt based on price. The good thing about him is he was fairly cheap for striker at the top club so even if he missed the odd game it didn't really matter (compared to if you spend say £10m on a player)
-Nolan: Brought him in for only 5-6 weeks but he had 3 big 12pt+ hauls in that time and made a £0.3m profit on the sale
-Ramsey: Had him from GW3 until he got injured, no need to elaborate
-Hazard: Started slowly but I stuck with him, only downside was Chelsea's riches in midfield meant I was often scared to captain him for risk of being benched
-Rooney: I bought him a couple of times, seemed to time things just right and he bagged me a lot of points. I only did two paid transfers all season and he was one of them
-Boruc: Served me well as a cheap keeper until he got injured

The Villains:
-Glen Johnson: Liverpool kept few cleanies and he didn't offer the attacking returns I'd been hoping for. Can't believe I ditched Shaw for him!
-Aspas: God only knows how I got suckered into that one, I think it was because Suarez was banned and he'd had a good preseason
-Eriksen: Absolute disaster for me, brought him in and he got randomly dropped/injured and I had to sell him for a £0.6m loss(!) then all of a sudden he was back in the team racking up the points

Regrets / Mistakes:
-Getting Ledley instead of Puncheon. I'd been weighing up which to get ahead of their DGWs and Puncheon had missed a couple of games so played it safe with Ledley. Don't get me wrong the week I bought him he scored very well but had I gone for Punch instead I'd likely have got the extra 20pts needed to win the prize league
-Not getting Suarez in earlier
-Thinking that loading up on Sunderland players was a good idea because they had so many games in hand. Mannone did well but Johnson/Bardsley, not so much

Ah you mean the prize H2H league Kaiju. I was talking about the original 'only for glory' H2H league from post 1 that i won. Congrats matey, great overall position as well!

My bad, I didn't know there was another H2H league! :o

Likewise man, any active H2H league is a tough one to crack.

Update: robfosters, the organiser of the H2H prize league has kindly offered a game of my choice. I chose Battlefield 4.
