No obviously not, the program claims they are hustled for real then given their money back. I believe that sometimes the 'marks' are actually actors.

i know i should be talking about chicks but i think the pictures speak for them selves

i remember reading that all the people are real people (as in not actors) but they were told before that something is about to happen to them and to play along with it. this means the show can say they were hustled for real and the people will play along for the cameras.
