*** The Official OcUK Beers Of The World Competition ***

I just couldn't get one anywhere :( The beer shop has had one in the past, but no longer. I thought Waitrose had a common one, but no joy. Likewise in Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Aldi, Lidl and the local off licenses. Ho hum.

:D Woo Hoo!

Must admit, mine was ordered a while ago. I was struggling with another category (Gueuze I think) and saw this as well. Been looking since and haven't seen another one anywhere so I'd have struggled as well had I not spotted this one.

Was pretty nice, nothing special though.

Pfft ordering online is too easy! :p

Historically as soon as I drop points I tend to lose interest, I'm going to try not to this time though :)

Totally agree, much prefer scouring the off licences for some strange beers!

For the next one "L - Light Beer", am I right in thinking this refers to the calorie content and not the colour? As in Bud Lite or some such similar product?

Hmmm, local breweries that have definitely been referred to as microbreweries before don't actually have that reference anywhere on their sites or merchandise! Craft brewery seems a more popular term now?

A microbrewery or craft brewery is a brewery that produces a small amount of beer. Exact definitions vary, but the terms are typically applied to breweries that are much smaller than large-scale corporate breweries and are independently owned.

I think that'd be fine
