*** The Official OCUK Cinebench R20 benchmark Thread ***

Don't need 16 threads, this is just a Firefox PC. Plus hyperthreading is a security risk and has a small negative impact on single thread performance.

I was about to say something then saw you were using an Intel CPU - so yep - hyperthreading is definitely a security risk.

First runs with a 5950X, placeholders for now switching out to a Asus Crosshair VIII Hero and hoping to squeeze some more performance out of this chip. The Asus x570 Prime Pro does not have the PBO Curve optimizer.

Clocks during the MT run were 4.4Ghz locked.

Clocks for the ST run were between 5-5.50Ghz.

Enabling PBOFmax actually hurt my performance and lowered my scores so had no choice but to disable it.

Yep, ordering the Crosshair Hero for that very purpose.

I wanted to get the dark hero, but the only way I could get a 5900x was by also ordering a motherboard with it, so went for the normal Hero as that was the best board you could get as a bundle, fingers crossed they add the feature to this board too.
