Hi, Can I ask what temps you're getting under load on R23, I have the 5950x currently with a Noctua nh-d15 which runs around 85C with -5 all core in curve optimizer and 1v SoC. Thinking of upgrading the cooling.

My temps are much the same as yours. That said, i am sure you would see an improvement with a 360/420 AIO.

I think with any cooler you will still see the same 'spike' temps within a degree or so. the only thing a bigger AIO will do compared to a smaller one or a air cooler is take longer to 'heat soak'. And that only matters in long all core loads, where the temp not only goes to 85 in a CB run, but will keep climbing over time unill it throttles.

In burst or gaming workloads the difference between a AIO and a good air cooler isn't that different. and in some cases the air cooler can be better because not only does it heat up quicker it also cools down a lot quicker than a loop of water.

Just to get on the board, probs just do R23 from now on...

With PBO2 & curve enabled with all core -5

Getting the same with aorus, these snubbed scores are all bios related and not your cpu being trash, gigabyte x570 is doing absolutely awful.

If you find a way to get above 630 single core on a gigabyte x570 board let me know, i haven't seen anyone get any real results with any of the gigabyte x570 boards

I think a lot of it is Bios related. That should be 640-650 minimum

What priority in Windows are people running on? Get higher results with the high setting but interested what people use as a baseline.

I got 6022 (5800x) on default everything a few days after a fresh install, and that was on ''below normal'' priority setting without realising. Since then, I have struggled to break 6000. The only time I can break 6000 is with PBO enabled (nothing else tweaked) and changing the Windows priority to high.

Hey guys, new user here.

What are the rules for this benchmark, just post a screenshot of CB r20 with whatever you got doing whatever you can to boost it?

Ive got a 10900k air cooled, my chip has an absolutely awful thermal/frequency ratio so I cant seem to stabilize above 5.0 (honestly thinking of buying a new one), but I hit 6550 which is higher than the widely published benchmark for ex. cpu-monkey (no idea how they get their data). On my mobile now but could post a screenshot later if people are still doing this...

Im pretty new to overclocking and my rig isnt exactly optimal, but I wonder if I couldnt get over 7k and hit the bottom of the leader board if I tweaked a few things.
