First go with an AMD Ryzen CPU. Not sure how it stacks up as I'm completely new to overclocking Ryzen chips and bios settings.

3950x (4150mhz all core) auto volts
PBO +100mhz
Scaler x2
2x 16gb Corsair Vengeance 3600mhz (running 3400mhz as 3600mhz seems to crash system running the 3950x with any amount of overclock)

Multi Core - 24558 pts
Single Core - 1313 pts

What were your scores stock?

That I9 surprised me a bit, then I realised it was HT off.
Interesting, as i reran my 3600 just to see what it could do and
Multi was 9686
Single was 1269

Not too shoddy compared with the i9.

My Multi Core score is 15809117:eek: 5800x
Not sure what's going on here, it does not render at all, no picture.

OK I sorted it.

My PBO results (on auto ) are worse than default albeit marginally with a 5800x on a Tomahawk Wifi x570 with a Rocken 3 air cooler

default
Single - 1594 (temp was about 59 degrees)
Multi - 15200 (temp was around 80 degrees)

PBO on Auto
Single - 1590 (temp ~60 degrees again)
Multi - 1531 (temp ~86 degrees)

Did notice on single core tests clock speed was jumping around a lot within Ryzen Master - majority of the time @ 3.8 / 4.4 but sometimes going as low as 2.1GHz (on multi core it appeared a lot more stable )

The multicore temps are a bit higher than I was hoping, will install a couple more case fans to see if they come down

I had a 5600X on a X570 Tomahawk, just upgraded to a 5800X.

When I first installed the CPU and did a quick run I was getting 15500 multi on R23. After reinstalling windows and updating the BIOS I am now getting slightly less.

Bit confused why. Temps aren't a problem, doesn't go over 80c under full core load. Just seems a little lacklustre. Single core is fine.

Second try with a few tweaks.

Newcomer to the board @humbug. Took some optimisation work but this is now my everyday OC:

Single Core: 1652 (PBO -18 curve, +100 boost, effective 5.05 GHz)

Multi-Core: 22744 (PBO -18 curve, +100 boost, effective ~4.6 GHz)
