I don't think that would be right. If Ukraine can't host, then it goes to the BBC and they should be able to host it as if they'd won it. Why should us licence fee payers fork out for another country's preferences? Obviously, it should feature Ukraine's winning song at the beginning but after that, it's a totally British affair. Bring back Angela Rippon!

Liverpool seems to be the favourite from all the internet hubbub. Dunno where exactly it would be though. Seems ridiculous for me to pass it up if it does go there, I'm only about 30 miles away.

Tickets for the Italian show started at €150 and that got you reduced visibility. No doubt they’ll be double that here!
Also, suspect most will go to corporate sponsors.
