Did it always start so late at 8pm? Seems like it starts awfully late or perhaps I'm just showing my age!

I find drinking like a Russian conscript that’s just been ordered to Ukraine helps the tedium nicely.Top tip: watch the songs, do something else for 90 minutes, then watch the end

Yeah, this is the first Eurovision Saturday in years where I'm actually not gigging tonight so I'll be watching it! I saw the first semi finals on Tuesday. Sweden song is catchy and likely to win. Don't know how they do it, they always seem to do well.
I think it was Croatia who said they didn't expect to get to the finals, but they did. This is so weird and awful I think it'll probably do quite well.

I've had a rummage through the cupboards and it looks like I'll be watching with a bottle of Bailey's and a bag of Penn State pretzels.
I thought the two semi-finals were a bit boring. I did vote for Australia on Thursday night though as that was the only one that made me look up from my TikTok viewing to see what was going on. I shall probably give them another vote tonight.
I just hope Lorraine doesn't win it again. Even though Petra Mede is wonderful, I don't think Sweden should be hosting again, it feels like every other year they are doing it even though it's 7 years.

Not helped by getting to bed after a party at 3.30am this morning. I'm sure this used to hurt less!

Sweden has been hyped up as the favorite but I didn’t like the song. I quite enjoyed Finland and Belgium who might do as well but also Moldova and Czechia who may not. Seems to be the only new music I listen to all year which is embarrassing! Maybe tonight the ones I like will change. The Poe Poe song didn’t totally catch me before but could with a second listen.
