How will changing from the original pixel to 5t go, beyond some google services do I have to download everything manually?

But that's only a 5.2" screen and the camera's are not as good.

No issues with the phone so far, display compared to the S8+ looks a bit yellow when set to sRGB vs Basic, that's just the white balance, I'll get used to that.

Otherwise it's nice and bright, very snappy.

Face recognition is crazy fast, fingerprint scanner is still fast, speaker is a bit nicer than the S8+ and it feels much thinner in hand.

Camera is okay, it works. Removed the screen protector right away, the included case feels very cheap and it's a fingerprint magnet, I'd rather not use it as it ruins the slim feel of the phone.

There are pros and cons to Treble. Regardless of the technical or business reasons, I think OP waiting a year is a good move.

I speak from experience when I say, having the latest version of android isn't always a good thing.

Got mine from o2 today, have come from a 5 year old HTC One X+......Bit of a difference to say the least.

How on earth did you manage to get one from O2? I've been trying to order one through their website and it fails every time I get to the payment details (flashes up a red error box for a fraction of a second and then takes you back to the page to enter your cards details again). I've tried 3 cards, 2 PCs, 3 browsers - all exactly the same. Tried phoning the store and they say they have no stock, and can only order into the store for contacts not PAYG

Ordered last night from o2 and its just arrived. 128gb on payg. Changing from my dying nexus 5x which has been to lg twice now. Both times board replaced for completely dying. This time returned 3 days ago and now the speaker is playing up. Not impressed with LG at all

Mine has arrived...... at the DHL InPost pickup point. I was expecting to be out and about in afternoon and not at home so got it delivered there for now. Will go grab it during lunch.
